The Demon's Bride

Miles was looks at the device that he turned off, when he joined the Organization he thought he was doing helping get ride of those Monsters, to help the Mortals live in peace, but after what that Demon said, and how terrified that Vampire looked, maybe the immortal being was right, the really Monsters were the mortals.

"Miles are you okay?" Rouge asked opening the door.

"Having second thoughts about joining this Team..." Miles said as he looks down at his hands, "I mean Witches and Warlocks didn't deserved to be burned at the stake, they were performing healing magic...and were entertaining children" he went on, his ears flatten to his head "And the Werewolves...they were there to hunt...and we just slaughtered them"

"Miles..."

"Shadow knows more about that Vampire than I and you do...i know I've been taught that Vampires were nothing more than bloodthirsty immortal creatures, that only think of themselves..." Miles said.

"Enough Miles!" Shadow growled. "These Monsters...are nothing but creatures that only think for themselves, and if given a chance they would make sure us mortals didn't exist" He pointed out.

Miles shakes his head "Maybe our ancestors got them all wrong...and here we are slaughtering them without hearing them out..."

Shadow clenches his hands into a fist, "Shut up already Fox, just because that Demon been around hundreds or billions of years ago...doesn't mean anything...they are just as heartless as those other creatures"

"And you think a couple of Mortals...nah an Army of Mortals...can take down a demon!?" Rouge hissed, she shakes her head "That's a war where we would mostly like lose..."

"It's not a war I want...It's those damn creatures I off this planet" Shadow argued back.

"Shadow...I get it...You lose your best to a group of Vampires and Werewolves, but you need to forgive...if anything that Vampire we saw, was only scared of us more than we are of it" Miles said letting out a sigh, he just snaps his device in half. "This isn't the past anymore...and like us...these Monsters or only fighting because they are scared...or protecting their young"

Shadow turns away from Miles and started walking away.

"He'll come around..." Rouge admits, "But about the Organization...you going to tell them a lie"

"I don't have a choice, it's like a bear, most bears will leave us alone, but unless provoked or in close range of their young they will attack" Miles added as he closes his eyes, "I can just see the fear, and sorrow in his eyes...he's been through a lot."

Rouge looks down, she saw it like Miles did, and she never felt so guilty for a creature like that before, he just looked so hurt...and just the way he looked, she shakes her head.

Shadow on the other hand just wanted that Vampire dead, as well as anyone else that wasn't Mortal...but demons were going be issue and Shadow knew it...after all most demons aren't in there full forms either. He looks away he hated to admit defeat, or if someone was right...but he knows Sonic's story. He just shakes his head, but he it still not going stop him from getting rid of these creatures.
