Me and Hunter are back with the wood. The orangey pink sky is being covered by the dark blanket of the night sky as we walk.
"Hunter, Rick's here," Shane called over to him as we entered the camp.
"Save me," Hunter whispered in my ear as he walked over to them. I laughed at his pain but seeing everyone with there family made me wonder where Uncle Merle was.
"I'm going to go to sleep, kinda tired from today," I told the group as I walked past. I didn't get a proper look at this new man but just supposed to see him in the morning. Hunter saw me again. He was right. Cuts, pretty serious ya know, my hands stinging.
"Wow look who decided to come back then!" Brooklyn sarcastically broadcasted as I walked towards the tents.
"I'm back," I said smiling.
"What happened then?" Chase asked almost instantly sitting up and his magazine falling from his chest.
"I almost fell out of a tree," I laughed. Brooke just gave me a weird look before bursting out with laughter. She's alright, keeps herself to herself type of girl. Chasin however does not know how to do that.
"Of course she fell out a tree. She can hunt, fish, gut a fish, make tents, fires, skin animals but she can't climb a tree," Chase listed as he shook his head.
"Get lost Chase it wasn't my fault," I threw a stick to him laughing then made my way to my tent.

I woke up with my hands red and sore, burns must've crept in during the night.
"Clary, can we go now?" I heard carl from outside my tent.
"Yes, alright let me get ready, and you can tell Lori and get Sophia," I said to Carl. I sat up in my tent and scrapped my hair into a ponytail, I have a grey tank top on and some light blue jeans that should be fine for today. The heat here will only get worse so I don't even care what I wear here. If I die then I want to die with some comfy clothes on.
I unzipped my tent and saw the brown haired boy waiting for me.
"I told Sophia she's waiting with Carol, and mom said it's fine," He told me.
"Wow, you really want to go don't you?" I teased him, ruffling his hair as I put my arm around his shoulder and walked towards everyone.
Carl is one of the calmest people here. Brooklyn and Sophia don't talk much around everyone and then Chase and Hunter have a joint passion for being annoying.
"Clary, don't go to far into the woods okay," Lori told me as she sorted the laundry out.
"Okay Lori. I'll take care of them," I picked up both of my pocket knives and placed them on the inside of my jeans.
Lori saw me pick it up.
"You don't have to carry it around with you Clary, you know that?" She advised me.
"Guess it's just instinct," I lied, "SOPHIA, COME ON!"
Sophia runs towards me and the three of us make our way to the opening of the woods.
"Listen, now both of you, we can just go for a walk for now and later we can come back and play alright?" I told them both. Both just nodded at me but continued to walk further than I told them.
"CLARY, C'MON!" Carl yelled after me.
"COMING!" I ran after both of them resulting in a game of tig and tag.
"Clary, can we play Hide and go seek?" Sophia asked me. I thought about it for a minute.
"Alright, you both go and hide, but not too far!" I added on after they ran off.

"1.
2.
3. READY OR NOT HERE I COME!" I called out as I got up to my feet. My knives are digging into my side but it's fine, weirdly enough the pain just feels right?I think they forgot the whole point of the game is to stay silent and hidden but I can hear them giggling and rustling not to far away from me
"I'm coming!" I called out once again. I've been looking for them for longer than I expected. I can hear rustling to my left. It can't be them it's too quiet. I turn my head to my left.
"Sophia, Carl," I said softly, "Come out very quietly," I can see two walkers from between the leaves. The duo appear from the opposing side and let out an ear piercing scream making the walker shift its attention from me to them.
"GO HURRY UP! TELL SHANE AND JIM!" I ran in front of them letting them run back to camp. My knives are steady in each hand. I can hear them screaming. The walkers are both heading for me.
I hear the squelch of its brain as I dig my knife into its skull. The slow drip of the maroon blood seeping out.
One walker dead. One more to go. I'm luring it towards me with one knife in front of my chest and the other a little higher up.
"CLARY STOP!" Shane shouted at me. The walker shifts it focus from me to Shane.
"Leave it and come here," Glenn told me, I looked at the walker and the dead deer on the ground. I grabbed my knife and stabbed it in the joint, slowing it down, before retreating to the men.
"When did you get back?" I asked as I walked over to them all.
"Just now, heard Sophia and Carl scream so we came out," He told me. Out of everyone here, Glenn is probably the only one I trust kinda.
"They shouldn't be scared of it. We can easily kill it," I scoffed.
"You shouldn't kill it, your too young," Dale advised me.
"Well you either kill or die and like Dale told us, I'm too young too die," I joked as the men went over and attacked the walker.
"That was my deer," A familiar voice emerges from the bushes as an arrow went into the center of the walkers head.
"Dad?" I called out, Glenn walked back to me.
"Hey kiddo," He spoke soft to me changing his focus from the dead deer to me. A small smile tugging on the corner of his mouth
"Dad!" I ran up to him and the comfort of his warm embrace made me forget the last few days.
"I'm back. Happy Birthday," He kissed the top of my head. I pulled away and smiled at him, he remembered it's my birthday.
"How many times have I told you people aim for the head," Dad told them all as he picked up his arrow from the walker's head, his other hand holding mine.
I heard gasps from behind me and saw Amy with her sister Andrea. How the hell can they be so scared of seeing a dead walker?
"It's gonna get dark, let's head back to camp," Shane announced.
