Elle

I don't move around, my body still not giving way, and my feet anchored to the floor.

God Elle, stop being so bloody awkward. He must think you lost your mind just standing in the middle of the room, not saying a word.

Blue comes running back towards me in a matter of seconds pulling me out of my thoughts. "Are you serious Bluey? Why would you betray me like that?" I whisper, giving him my best angry face, as he lays his head on my feet.

His eyes look up at me, and he starts howling, trying to excuse himself. I finally find the courage to look in Harry's direction, our eyes meeting as I do.

"So, I guess your dog seems to like me?" He establishes looking in Blue's direction, a smile on his lips.

"I wouldn't bet on it, mate," Finneas warns him.

For a few seconds, he stands there, until his feet move forward, coming to a halt next to Finneas to take a look at what we were doing. I didn't know what to say to him, but to take his attention off the song I blurt something out.

"So, what are you doing here? I thought your album was finished? And Sar said you guys weren't practising today?" Yeah Elle, go ahead and embarrass yourself more.

A cheeky smile is visible on Harry's face, probably wondering what the hell is wrong with me. I could feel his eyes laying on me as I find the courage, putting one foot in front of the other to walk towards the two of them, my eyes staying anchored to the ground.

"Is it so unusual of me to come by here?" He reasons. I shake my head carefully, trying not to give in to the urge I felt, to look at him.

"What are you two working on?" His question was meant for me, so I answered quickly my eyes now focused on Finneas who is turned towards his computer, working on the end of the song a wide smile spread across his face. "Nothing really, there's not much yet."

"Come on Elle, it's not nothing! Actually- " Finneas blurts out before I disrupt him, shooting him a warning look as he shifts his head towards me, but he seems to not care. "Actually, I uploaded Elle's song on a streaming platform and it kind of blew up. So, now we need to stay on top of her songwriting, as well as try to find someone willing to take a look at her songs so that we could maybe release her first song officially."

God damn it Finneas. I didn't want to tell Harry that. I mean I didn't know about the Boyband thing or that he is now going solo, but I didn't want him to think that I wanted to use him to get into the music industry. No, in fact, I wanted to do this by myself. Because if I do become an Artist, I want to be able to say that I did this by myself. Not because someone knew people and could help me. It was already nice enough, that we were allowed to use the studio. I was already lucky enough to be here, I didn't want to ask more of him and the others.

"Yeah as I said it's nothing. Still right where I started out. And that's fine-" I look over to Finneas shooting him another warning look. "- because I will get there, and if I do then by myself."

"Well doesn't sound like you're where you started out, I mean, releasing that first song was a great move Finneas," Harry says, and Finneas nods in appreciation. "But, you know... Without wanting to come across as rude... But I could be a good help If you don't know how to continue with that song." With the song. Yeah, that was good, he doesn't think that I'm using him right?

When I finally look up at him our eyes meet and a smile forms on his lips.

"Oh!" Finneas's voice echoes through the room, making my head snap up to find his eyes focused  on his watch. He gets up, shooting me a condoning look and I instantly know what his intention is.
