"What is this?" I gasped, looking at an array of carriages pull to the keep. Filled with lords and ladies. Highborn children playing with one another.

"The coronation!" The boys exclaimed together. Aemond jumped down from his horse, rummaging in the saddle bag.

"The fuck are you doing?" I asked, turning on my horse. Aegon jumped down too, taking Aemonds horse to the side, along with pulling mine forward.

"Get off the damn thing!" Aemond exclaimed, I hurriedly jumped down. Aemond pulled a cloak from his bag, swinging it around me, pulling up the hood to hide my hair.

"What is the meaning of this?" I snapped at him.

"They aren't meant to see you before the ceremony, Mother wanted a big unveiling of sorts. Come now, in the back, Aegon- take the horses around." Aegon just nodded, taking them all and strutting up to the front enterance. Aemond hurried me along the outskirts of the castle. We climbed a narrow set of steps as he began to push on the wall. As it gave away, he grabbed my wrist, pushing me inside. I was in my room. There was a secret passage to my room?

"How did you-" I asked, he cut me off.

"Maegor the cruel had them put in place all over the castle for escapes, I went looking for some, and found quite afew, not even the king or queen knows any of them, but I bet Aegon does. With his brothel hoppings." He rolled his good eye, I uncloaked myself, setting it down on the table, rubbing my head.

"So much family history, it's fucking with my head." I let out a sigh. Closing my eyes for a moment. I felt his hands lift to my shoulders, gripping them lightly. My eyes flicked open, as I watched him step closer to me, chest to chest. I looked into his eye, one of his hands cupped my cheek.

"You'll get the hang of it soon." He whispered, I pulled back from his hand on my face.

"Why the sudden change of heart?" I snapped at him. "You were sniffing around me last night, now nothing but ignorance." I snapped. I attempted to fully pull away, but he snatched my arm, pulling me up to his face.

"I'm sorry, I shouldn't have done that." He apologised. I could tell he was being sincere, but his voice was filled with something else.

"You're acting like Aegon." I retorted, trying to pull away from him but he was too strong. He snatched up my other wrist, forcing me to face him.

"Don't dare compare me to him." He glared, his voice raising. I began to stare back, there was no point in getting away from him now. His blank expression turned to a grimace.

"So what shall I compare you to then? I shouldn't have let you near me. I don't even want to be your wife, or some bloody princess." I snapped.

"Oh really? You have no choice now. If you choose to run from us, to not oblige, mother would have you confided to your room, everything you do outside of here is a luxury, so consider yourself lucky." He spat, my eyes widended. "If it wasn't for me, Aegon, and my own father, you would have been sent away, killed, or gods know what. You are what you are, because we commanded it."

I didn't like the way he was talking. It made my heart race, my eyes began to sting, but I refused to cry before him. I struggled against him. He just gripped me more, he pulled me in closer. "Aemond- stop- you're hurting me." I cried out. Suddenly, he let go, which caused me to stumble back, I gripped the table, pulling myself up. I rubbed my wrists, just looking down at them. Silence echoed around us. My eyes began to sting again. "Get out." I muttered.

"Y/n.. I'm sorry, I really didn't mean to-"

"Get out!" I bellowed. Turning to him and throwing my hands down. He simply froze at my anger.
