I awoke to a clanging. I shot up out of bed, looking to the door, around the room, no one was there, my eyes fell to the ground, It was the cup Aegon had thrown on the bed from last night. I must've kicked it off in my sleep. I rubbed my eyes, yawning. I turned to look at Aegon. He was drooling in his sleep, hair askew. He looked like a doll. I turned to look out the window, the sun was high. My heart jumped.
"Aegon! Aegon- Get up!" I demanded, jumping out of the bed, snatching the sheets and wrapping them around me for decency. He rolled in the bed, naked. He grumbled. "Seven hells, Aegon!" I slapped his shoulder. He didn't budge. "Aegon!" I bellowed.
"What?" He groaned, eyes fluttering, he rubbed them.
"Your handmaiden will be here to dress you any moment, I need to get out of here! When Dyana sees I'm not in bed she'll tell the queen!" I snapped. He slowly sat up.
"Isn't that a problem?" He croaked, yawning. Swinging himself out of bed, stepping to the door.
"What the fuck are you doing?" I asked.
"Getting the fucking door." He swung it open, I dove by the bedside, my hands hitting the stone, I poked my head up to watch what he was doing.
"Ser Erykk, Fetch Arykk with the Princesses clothes for me." He asked, closing the door. Then he grabbed his undergarments from a chair they had been thrown over. He rubbed his eyes again.
"What do you think you're doing?" I asked him.
"Erykk is sworn to me, if he said anything, he knew I'd have his cock and tongue on a string." He grabbed the cup that had fallen on the floor, and filled it with the wine jug from the table, drinking. How was he so calm? I looked onto the floor, my ripped dress lay there, along with my corset. I got to my feet, still clutching the covers around me. A knock came to the door.
"Ser Arykk for you Prince." A voice spoke.
"Enter." Aegon spoke calmly, running his fingers through his hair. The door swung open, my heart leapt. Arykk stood there, Erykk had opened the door, their eyes darted between us, Arykk simply said.
"Your riding clothes Princess, Prince Aemond is asking for you." Arykk explained, Aegons eyes turned up to look at him at the sound of his brothers name.
"What for?" I asked carefully.
"I'm not sure princess, he simply stated that you were to be dressed for training today. Now, if you'll be needing anything else-" Arykk started, but Aegon cut in.
"Aye, those clothes on the floor, take them, burn them, say nothing to the queen. As for the stones on her neck, I'll take them for now, let no one see you burn them. Do this with upmost urgency. Ser Erykk, let no one enter this room til my say." Aegon explained. Sipping. I knelt to pick up the clothes, Arykk knelt to pick them up too, I handed them to him, in shame. He bowed slowly.
"Princess Y/N, Prince Aegon." He bowed, leaving the room, door closed behind him.
I began to dress, pulling on my boots and socks. Pulling on my tunic and leather tunic. Taking off the gems on my neck. "What do you want with these?" I asked Aegon. "And why have the clothes burned?"
"Best I keep those for now, under her nose. For the clothes, I can't any trace of you here. You made a reason to me last night. Mother really would lose her mind if she caught us sharing my bed." Aegon turned, looking out the window. I began to rummage the drawers, eventually finding a hairbrush, and scraping my hair free of knots. I placed it back.
"I'll see you later." I remarked. He turned quickly, snatching my wrist, I turned to look at him. He pulled me close. Kissing my lips softly. I blushed at the morning affection that I thought he would neglect.
