I got nervous as I opened my cabinet. I don't have any clothes that suit for the event that will happen. Hindi ko naisip ito bago ako sumang-ayon sa kaniya.

"Ahhh paano na?!" Sigaw ko at saka nagmamadaling lumabas ng aking silid, calling my mom, asking for help. "Ma! May dress ba kayo dya-"

"We both know that we're alike when it comes to clothes." As she said that, I heavily sighed and can't help but to run over my room. "Marem!" My mother shouted.

As i close the door, I immediately go to my bed to lie down and cry.

Paano na? Ano na gagawin ko?

I harshly grab my pillow and cover it on my face, silently crying, not making any noise from my sobs.

Mariin kong naipikit ang aking mga mata ng marinig ang busina na nang galing sa labas kasabay ng pagkatok ng aking ina sa pintuan.

"Marem! Andyan na yung sundo mo." I harshly wipe my tears but it's flowing like a river, it's unstoppable. "Marem, open the door!"

Instead of following what my mother said, i shout, "Ma, tell him I can't go! Or tell him that I'm not here. It's just a wrong decision! I can't go with that party. I'm not a person who'll go to the places like that! It's crowded!"

"Marem..." I immediately move my hands to cover my mouth, not letting any sobs to be hear by my mother outside the door. "Tahan na, anak. Nanay mo ako at wala kang matatago sa akin. Halika na anak... tahan na, anak."

I didn't reply...

"Fine, Acedelo will wait you outside for too long. It's a shame, because it's looks like it will rain and he doesn't have any umbrella."

"But, he has a car!"

"And you think that he'll go inside of his car, if you keep crying like that and make him rejected? What do you think he will do? He possibly get the wrong idea!" I press my upper lips down to my lower lips. "What do you think are you doing?"

"But mom!"

"Marem," As I heard his voice, I feel like I'm at lost.

It's a shame that I agree to go with him but here I am... taking back my promises without his consent. "I know, you don't intend this! Please, open this door! We have to talk!"

"No, we don't have to!" I replied. "I can't go, period. Just go away!" Mabilis kong natakpan ang bibig ko matapos gumaralgal ang boses ko sa pag sigaw.

"Whatever you say... I'll wait you to get out of that bed. Talk to me! Going at that party without my partner is not what I expected."

"Then sorry for not going to that party with you!"

"Why are you saying sorry? What for?" I removed the pillow covering my head and let out a heavy sighed.

"For breaking my promises?" My voice was trembling, and all I can do is to let out a deep breath and cry out loud. "Just.. accept my apology and go away."

"I'm just going to accept your sorry if only you'll get up with that bed and open this door." He said. "We really need to talk. What's with the change of your mind?"

Sobbing, crying over this simple problem. "But I don't have," My voice, it's a shame not to go with him just because of that reason. "I don't have any clothes to wear for that... party." I bite my lower lip as my conscience eat me.

Pero imbis na disappointment ang makita kong reaksyon niya ay nagawa niya oa akong pagtawanan.

"You dumbass!" He shouted.
