third person pov...

Finney speed walks to his next class, his heart beating quickly. Why was he feeling like this? He continues walking in piece until he bumps into someone...again.

"Shit-...I'm sorry." Finney apologizes quickly, picking up his books from the floor. As he's about to pick up the last book, someone else grabs it for him and they both stand up.

"No worries! Im Bruce." Bruce hands back the book to Finney. The two stare at eachother until Finney smiles nervously.

"Oh, sorry I'm Finney.." Bruce smiles, "By any chance would you like to hang out during lunch?" Finney makes a surprised face, no one has really asked to hang out with before.

Finney couldn't say no to this opportunity, plus this is Bruce Yamada you're talking about. Bruce is popular and maybe if people knows he hangs out with him, he wouldn't be bullied as much. On the other hand though, he's supposed to be avoiding him, and it's kinda obvious when he hangs with Bruce, the rest of his friend group would be with him.

Finney bites his lip, "I'm sorry, I have uhm work to do. It was nice meeting you Bruce." Finney walks away, holding his bag strap tightly.

Bruce stands there, surprised. No one has ever really declined his offer to hang out with him. I mean people would die to hang out with him. Okay, maybe he's getting a little too full of himself but he actually really wanted to get to know Finney.

Bruce glances at his left hand palm, looking at the initials F.B. He has got to get to know his new soulmate.

...

Finney rushes to the bathroom to text Gwen what was going on but before he could pull out his phone, three people barge into the bathroom. "Is that Frilly Finney?" Finney curses to himself, why now?

Finney stays silent but the three are not having it. "Speak up you gay freak!" Matty laughs with his other two friends. "What too scared to talk?"

Finney backs up as they get closer, "I'm not scared." Matty grabs him by the collar of his shirt and Finney begins to panic.

Thankfully, someone walks into the bathroom. Finney looks at the doors direction, it actually wasn't a someone, it's two people and unfortunately it's the two people he was supposed to avoid. Robin Arellano and Vance Hopper.

Matty lets go of his collar and Finney stumbles back. The three begin to leave but stop at a voice.

"Wait." Robin warns. The three stop and turn to look at Robin. "Fuck with him again and I fuck with you." The three nod, shaking.

"You can leave now dipshits." Vance growls. The three scatter out the bathroom and now Finney is alone with the other two.

Sure, Finney is thankful for Robin and Vance coming to his rescue but they are really messing up his plans. Finney lets out a soft sigh, almost unheard.

Robin and Vance glance at eachother then at Finney. "Uh are you okay?" Robin asks, unsure of what to say. Finney nods and turns to look at the two.

"Thanks for uhm having back and stuff." Finney thanks awkwardly. The two nod back but as soon Finney was about to leave, a voice urges him to stay.

"Wait, stop running away from us." Vance exclaims almost desperately. He walks up to Finney, as if he was pleading. There was no way Vance would be pleading to him, was there?

Robin follows behind Vance, adding into the conversation. "If you're gonna run, at least let us know your name."

Finney presses his lips together, "Finney." The two nod and Finney swears he could almost see them smile.

"Nice to meet you Finney, I'm..." Finney interferes in Robin's sentence.

"No need to introduce yourselves, I know your names. Practically everyone does, but it was nice to meet you guys too." Finney smiles playfully and walks out the bathroom, leaving the two alone with their thoughts.

...

Finney makes it to his next class, glad it is a free period. Since, it is a free period, Finney decides to spend his time in the library. Walking from book shelf to book shelf Finney looks for a book that fits his book-reader taste.

Finally, Finney finds a book, unfortunately there's someone in the way. The socially awkward kid he is, Finney stands there silently, waiting for the person to move.

"Do you need something?" The voice catches Finney of guard. Shit, this is Billy Showalter. "You've gotta be kidding me." Finney sighs in his mind.  "So...you need something or...?" Billy asks once again.

"Oh yeah I need uhm that book to your left, if you don't mind getting it." Finney requests pleadingly.Billy nods and reaches out for the book, handing it to Finney.

"That series is really good, if you want you could borrow the next novel from me.." Billy offers kindly. Finney's eyes light up and a smile forms onto his face.

"Thank you, that would be very nice." Finney takes the book from Billy hands.

"I'm Billy, you?" Billy introduces. "I'm Finney." The two stand in silence, staring at eachother. Finney's heart is racing, feeling like Billy is staring right through him as if he knows that his heart is beating rapidly.

"I uhm I have to go now, it was lovely to meet you." Finney holds the book tightly to his chest. Billy nods, a soft smile forming on his face.

"Same for me, see you around Finney." Finney begins walking out the library, a hint of blush on his cheeks.
