third person pov...

Finney looks at himself through his full body mirror. Why was he having such a hard time choosing what to wear? It's just a hangout, nothing more. Finney huffs, rummaging through his closet once again.

After looking in his closet once more, he finally chooses an outfit. He quickly grabs his bag and his phone. He heads out the door, checking his hair one last time. Finney enters the kitchen, spotting Gwen eating a piece of toast and his father passed out on the couch. Gwen puts a finger over her lips, motioning Finney to stay quiet. Finney nods as he slips on his black platform boots.

"Are you done eating, I think we are gonna' be late." Finney whispers. Gwen nods, placing her half eaten toast in her plate. She grabs her backpack and placed it on, heading out the door with Finney. She closes the door, locking it in a swift motion. Gwen passes Finney the keys as he places it into his bag.

The two walk in silence until Gwen breaks it, "So, you ready for your hangout?" Finney scoffs and shrugs his shoulders. He wasn't even sure for himself yet.

"To be honest, I don't really know. I just...I just want it to go well." Finney sighs. "It's not everyday a person gets five soulmates, y'know?" Gwen nods holding onto her wrist, the place where he soulmate mark is.

Gwen hesitates for a moment then let's out a long sigh, "Do you think I've met my soulmate?" Finney ponders for a moment, not really knowing how to respond. He shrugs his shoulders once again.

"I don't know. I think you'd have to decide that for yourself." Finney concludes and Gwen nods. She lets go of her wrist as they finally make it to school. "I'll see you later, okay? Love you." Finney begins to walk off towards his classes and Gwen smiles.

"Love you too."

...

Finney places his headphones on, turning up the volume to his music. He towards his first period, feeling his heartbeat pace quickly. He was pretty nervous- screw that, really nervous for the hangout with his soulmates.

Finney walks into his first period class and finds Robin waving at him subtly. Finney shyly walks over and sits next to him. Robin looks at him up and down, a small smile forming on his face.

"You look really beautiful, mi amor." Robin compliments, in an attempt at flirting. Finney blushes, smiling at the boy.

"Thank you. You don't look to bad yourself." Finney flirts back. He has no idea what has gotten into him but he's glad. Finney thinks to himself for a second, then something pops into his head. "Uhm, what does 'amor' mean?" Finney asks, looking up at Robin.

Robin feels his face heat up, his Finney is just so beautiful. Robin position himself close enough to Finney's face and whispers into his ear. "My love. It means my love." Robin backs up and chuckles at Finney's facial expression.

Finney is almost sure his face is a bright pink. Who's face wouldn't be pink at this moment? They both look at each other in silence, a good kind of silence. Until the teacher begins to lecture at them for not having their notebooks out.

Finney's face heats up again, now because of embarrassment. Robin laughs quietly and Finney can't help but join in. Something about Robin's laugh just felt contagious, and Finney absolutely loved it.

...

"See you later, mi amor." Robins winks at Finney, in sign of a farewell. Finney gives a little wave and a smile on response as he watches Robin walk away. Finney smiles to himself, grabbing his bag. He's about to walk out the door when he meets eyes with a certain someone. Griffin Stagg.

"I thought it'd be nice to walk together? You know, since we both have the same second period and stuff-..." Before Griffin could continue rambling, Finney cuts him off.

"I'd like that." Finney smiles and Griffin smiles back, a tint of red forming on his cheeks. They two begin to walk together as Griffin rambles about his morning and Finney listens. They both walk in together and sit next to each other for class.

"Oh! Sorry if I talked too much, I talk a lot..it's a habit but-.." Griffin tries to explain himself but Finney didn't mind one bit.

"No, it's okay. I really like it when you talk, it's soothing and interesting. So, don't be sorry." Finney speaks softly. "I love it." Griffin nods, feeling his heart race and his cheeks heat up. Finney can't help but giggle, causing Griffin to laugh with him as well.

When they hear the teacher walk into the class, they both shut up but stay smiling as they take out the needed materials for the class.

...

Finney waves a 'see you later' to Griffin as he walks to his next period, feeling more at ease for the hangout. Maybe it wouldn't be so bad to get to know his soulmates more, maybe he could fit in place with them.

Finney passes through his periods, feeling as if they went quicker than usual. He takes a few breaths to steady his breathing, he begins to feel anxious once again. He walks out the classroom and outside, trying to locate his soulmates.

He lays eyes on five certain boys and begins to walk towards them. No backing out Finney, you've got this. Just don't screw up. Easy enough, right?
