I woke up to the muffled sounds of vibrations coming from under my clothes across the room. I looked down to see Layanna asleep under me, her beautiful skin was a dark Umber that is a gorgeous combination of brown and reddish shades. Her hair was midnight black and it flowed to her shoulders with mixed curls and her honey-sweet lips were tended brown, I had to kiss them before leaving her in bed.
I grabbed my phone and saw I had twelve missed calls from Mia, sliding on the rest of my clothes and I stepped outside of the bedroom to return Mia's call.
"Where the fuck have you been Milo? We may have a problem with Ivano. He was last seen driving your way with more than ten trucks full of armed men following him." I walked to the end of the hallway and looked out of the window to see Nash talking to a group of men.
"Mia, How much time do we have left before Ivano arrives?" I see that the men he's talking to aren't a part of my team, it makes me wonder if Nash finally got sick of Layanna and ratted her out to Ivano. "He should be there around eight tonight if there aren't any more changes"
I looked at the time on my phone it was four in the morning "Okay good, this gives us more than enough time to figure out everything" Mia is my right hand when it comes to running my empire and I would trust her with my life "Did you tell Nash about this new information?"
"No. You know I don't trust that perpetrator, I already had some of the men clear and check up on a couple of the safe houses whenever you're ready to move" I walked down the stairs to continue mapping out a plan with Mia, breaking my promise and leaving Layanna and the kids upstairs.

After what seems like forever on the phone with Mia we finally came up with an infinite number of escape plans. To get Layanna and the kids or if Mia likes to call them "The Pack" to one of the safe houses without anyone getting hurt. "Run the plan by the rest of the team and we'll see you later at one of the safe houses"
I already made breakfast while I was on the phone with Mia, looking down at the time I see it's six o'clock, which is the time Layanna gets up with the kids. I finished making everyone's plates when I hear a scream from upstairs that's when I noticed I didn't have my guns on me.
I ran upstairs to see the twins banging on Layanna's door "Where's your sister?"
Evander looks up at me with tears in his eyes "He pulled Asteria out of bed and threw her in the room with mommy"
The screams are getting louder from behind the closed door, I looked back at my men "Grab the kids and call Mia immediately tell her everything that's going on. The rest of you prepare your weapons just in case the girls are held at gunpoint" My team sprang intoaction as soon as they received their orders while I continue to break down the door.
