#DAMON

It was now Sunday 13 April. Mahle and I went to church Berea DCC and the morning service was A-Awesome. We got out and bought junk then headed to the flat, today she was going to go sleep at her flat and I was going to take her there because she has classes tomorrow. We were chilling in my room just eating junk. My phone rang and it was Jade. I was hesitant to answer but Mahle gave me the go ahead.

//Me: what do you want?

Her: I just had a run in with Dwaine

Me: ok? how's that my problem?

Her: He is Calvin's brother Damon and he knows about his brother

Me: how? I made sure of everything

Her: I don't know Damon but he knows ok and he says he's coming after me

Me: Jade this is your mess together with Luchelle and it has been your mess from day one. Deal with him same way you did his brother

Her: Damon I need you please

Me: Jade I'm with my girlfriend right now and you making her uncomfortable

Her: oh

Me: bye Jade and please don't ever call me again. Handle your business with your bestie Luchelle. //

Mahle was busy pressing her phone this whole time I was talking to Jade. When I was done she didn't stop.

Me: I'm guessing you want to know what's that about?

Her: nope

Me: The reason Jade called me is because I helped her cover up murder and save her from going to prison.

Her: you had your reasons

Me: can you please just put the phone down and may we talk or a minute?!

I snapped and she put her phone down and looked at me.

Her: ok. Talk!

Me: yoh. I've known Jade and Luchelle since high school and they've been friends since forever. Luchelle and were best friend in high school, that's how I even met her parents. We tried turning friendship into a relationship but our relationship lasted for a month because it just wasn't working out. 2 years ago I was interning at my father's firm, the 3 of us hosted a house party at Jade's crib, we got really wasted Luchelle couldn't even walk properly so she and this guy Calvin went up to one of the rooms and Calvin tried to take advantage of her but luckily Jade heard Lu scream and she went to rescue her. She got in the room and found Lu pinned on the bed face down and this Calvin guy on top of Lu pounding hard in her ass, Jade took a hammer and hit him on the back of his head with it and the guy fell but she didn't stop hitting him til Lu intervened

This whole time she was looking at me in shock and I didn't blame her.

Me: When Jade had finally stopped the guy was dead. He wasn't breathing at all which made them panic, Lu came to find me and asked me to send everyone home. I tried asking but she told me she would update me when everyone was out and so I did as told and everyone left. Lu took me to the room they were in and I found a dead body on the floor and a terrified Jade sitting in the corner with her knees on her chest. Lu filled me in on what happened, I told them to report the guy and open up a case but Lu refused and said she didn't want Jade to be arrested for this. So I helped them cover up the murder of Calvin. Jades home had Cameras in every room and so I figured its best I take the tapes and store them elsewhere because their plan was to burn the whole house down. Jade's plan was to move all her stuff to a flat in Musgrave she had inherited from her parents' death and so we did just that and made it look as though the wiring was bad and it was bound to be believable because that house was super old. It was as old as Jade. Now Jade says Calvin's brother knows about this, if how I also don't know and she wanted me to help her.
