I spent most of my Sunday with my man and just showing him around East London and then later on I drove him to the airport because he was working on Monday.
Me: I'm not ready to let you go
Him: well you don't have a choice now princess'
Me: I know
Him: well if it makes you feel any better, I don't want to leave you too
Me: then don't
Him: you know I would love to stay but duty calls Beautiful
Me: yeah I guess
Him: come on don't be sad now. You'll be back in 2 weeks
Me: that's too far
Him: I know I know but if you patient enough something will be waiting for you in Durban
Me: and what's that?
Him: It's a surprise. Can't tell you
Me: argh fine. You so boring
Him: I doubt that's what you'll be saying when you see it
Me: we'll just have to wait and see then
Him: I should go
Me: yeah
Him: come on don't cry now
He said wiping a tear of my cheek with his thumb.
Me: I didn't notice I was
Him: you going to see me soon ok
Me: ok
He opened the door and got out then came to open my side of the door. He pulled me up then hugged me for the longest time before letting go.
Me: let's go check you in then
Him: are you sure?
Me: yeah. Let's go
Him: ok fine then
We got in and checked him in then we spent the next few minutes talking about nothing much til it was time for him to leave me. I was crushed as though someone had just stuck a dagger in my chest. I hated seeing him leave me. I went back to the car and drove straight to Beacon Bay. I found the fam gathered outside the pool area sitting and chatting up a storm. I went to sit next to Nathi.
Her: you ok?
Me: yeah
Her: you can always talk to me little one
Me: I just said goodbye to Damon
Her: at least you'll see him in two weeks
Me: I know but it still hurts
Her: I know little sis but you going to be fine ok
Me: ok.
We joined in on the conversation and we laughed and just had fun as a family. Gran was telling us stories about her and grandpa and the little time she spent with Nosihle. Everything was just in place.

Sisa refused to get a lift from me and opted for going by taxi instead because she just couldn't stand being with me for 3 long hours and I let her be. I got home and I knew mom was going to give me crap about dismissing her yesterday and just my luck she was in the kitchen cooking.
