"Unconscious smile."

I've been spending this last days with the Schumachers and it was honestly the best experience ever. They were such a close family and they made me feel so welcome. Gina was like the sister I never had and Corinna loved me like a mother.

Mick.

I loved Mick and I'd realized that in the last days but I didn't knew if he felt the same and I didn't want to ruin this. I was usually deemed to ruin things and this was the first great thing I had in my life. I didn't want it to disappear.

Mick and I were holding hands while walking at the park. Gina was riding her bike around the park. She passed besides us and rang her bell. We smiled and waved at her. It was really cold outside.

"Look." I puffed out air out of my mouth which turned into vapor because of the cold.

He smiled looking at me while I kept puffing air. His eyes examining my features.

"You're a literal child." He chuckled and I chuckled too. "Do you want an ice cream?" He asked pointing at an ice cream kart that was in the middle of the park.

"It's freezing, my mouth's gonna fall off." I replied and he laughed.

"It won't. You need to try the coffee one." He started walking towards the stand and I followed him with a smile on my face.

We got to the stand and the man serving the ice creams looked at us.

"Ah, what flavor are you lovebirds having today?" He asked and Mick and I looked at each other.

"Two coffee ones please." Mick replied raising two fingers.

The man smiled and served the coffee ice cream in two white cups. He put two colored spoons in each cup and handed us the cups.

"How much is it gonna be?" Mick asked taking out his wallet from his pocket.

"4 euros." The man replied

"I'll pay mine." I told Mick and he shook his head taking out some bills. "Mick." I raised my eyebrows and he smiled at the man handing him the money.

"I'm not letting you pay." He looked at me with a smile and I shook my head chuckling.

"Enjoy." The man smiled at us and we nodded.

"Thank you." I thanked Mick when we started walking.

"It was nothing." He started eating his ice cream. "I want to see you try it, it's delicious." He spoke with his mouth full making me chuckle.

"We'll see. I'm a very strict ice cream critic." I raised my eyebrows and he chuckled softly.

I grabbed the little spoon and ate a spoonful of ice cream. The sweet flavor melted in my mouth and my eyes widened a little bit.

"Oh, this...this is good." I spoke with my mouth full. "Mmm, it's not good it's amazing." I took another spoonful and he laughed. I was absolutely delighted by the flavor.

"Told you." He smiled proudly.

We walked towards Corinna who was sat on a bench. We sat besides her.

"Hello you two." Her face immediately lit up when she saw us. "You're eating ice cream?" She raised her eyebrows.

"Mick said it was the best ice cream." I pointed at the blonde and took another spoonful. "And he was right." I added with my mouth full.

"You're gonna catch a cold. It's freezing." She shook her head smiling amused by my enthusiasm.

"It's worth it." Mick ate another spoonful too.
