Y/N Pov

I sat silently and observing the two female leader besides me, Im still somewhat shocked to hear that I am not truly alone in the same situation. America and France, two great nations that could be aligned with Britain to form a unbreakable shield wall. Although, Emma keeping secrets like not fully disclosing the existance of France to me made me a little suspicious these 2 women

But nevertheless, they are trusted as they seem to have no feelings of hostility towards me

After a little chat, the two women looked at each other and gave a nod in unison ans then looking back at me with a serious expression
I gulp in anticipation on what information they will give to me

"Y/N, are you a believer of a democracy?". Emma asked me, the shift on the tone of her voice was startling but I held my composure. "Yes, despite being monarchy, I am Pro-Democracy back in the Old World. A true believer of NATO superiority over the authoritarian dictators like the Russians, The Chinese and Iranians". I say with utmost of confidence and my reply left Emma with a big smile and Amelie giving a smirk

Emma and I bump our fist together as a sign of complete friendship and had gained 100% of her trust. "See, I told you he'd be a wonderful ally". Emma elbow nudges Amelie as if they had met a bet with Amelie losing the little friendly gamble. "Im a believer of peace achieved through superior firepower". I add to my statement with a proud voice

"Uck. Keep talking like that and I'll confuse you with the American". Amelie says as she rolls her eyes to the sides before finally we reach our real deal with the meeting. Emma reaches for a file on her suit case which she puts on the table and slides it towards me

I glance at the file and I look at the two women while raising a brow. "Top Secret?". Curiously, I ask a question before opening it to get more context rather than opening the file blindly. "Since we know that the British are trusted allies of ours, we can share this information with you without fearing a backstab". Amelie says, no wonder Emma felt like she was keeping some secrets from me

I open the file and the first page contains defense of France and Counter-Offensive

A silent gasp escapes my mouth and I look at Emma and Amelie which they reply with a nod as if the file they gave me was indeed true. I flip through pages and the border of France was shown and estimated initial casualties of American and French combatants

I didnt bother to check further details and scan through the entire thing at a swift pace. Tanks, Soldiers, Aircrafts, Naval Warfare, Air Campaigns. I skim through all of it until I reach a certain page and I can feel my heart sink to my stomach upon reading out the words...

"Nazi Germany"

"There was a border skirmish between French and German soldiers, our forced exchanged ammunition, artillery fire and a dogfight. The fighting was on probably a battalion to regiment level and the Germans fired first, they thought we wouldnt fire back. I recieved 12 casualties, the Germans had 13". Amelie said with slow growing spite upon the mention of the fascist agressors. "Thats why I wanted to station ready troops on Britain, to have better combat readiness when it comes to war". Emma added as she to was against such horrible ideology

I symphatize with Amelie who's nation and people will soon suffer the horrors of war against an vile enemy. A first strike would brand us as an enemy and would give the Nazis an easy propaganda victory which is not optimal if we were to subdue its government. "Count me in". I say as I stare at Amelie with a serious expression

Even in this new world, there was a German Imperialist no matter what...

Scene Change

I was in the living room of Amelie's residence looking out the window and admiring the beauty of the French Countryside of small hills and greenery. Its a silent room until Amelie enters with servants with a food trolley and Amelie gestures an invitation. "Care to have some afternoon snacks?". She asks. "That would be lovely". I reply to her, the servants unveils French Pastries like Macarons, Tarts, Brioch and Croissants and setting up tea cups
