As Sniper opened the door to the van, he sighed, guiding the runner to the entrance. He hoped to get some more shut-eye maybe, kick back and relax, just chill and hang out with a non-drunk Scout like he usually did. All he wanted to do was free himself from all the chaos going on this week. "You gonna sleep here tonight?" Asked Sniper, eliciting a nod from Scout as he was tightly embracing a soft pillow and blanket from his room. "Yeah! Told ya I got stuff planned, heheh." Sniper raised an eyebrow at this, intrigued. If this was a few days ago, he wouldn't be as excited; it'd probably be some sort of movie night or the two just hanging out like any other friend group would. After their agreement yesterday however, their relationship changed drastically. "Oh? Why don't we have supper first?"

"Yeah, sure!" He set down his pillow and blanket next to Sniper's, right on top of the bed. Now that he looked at it, it would be pretty cramped — The two would probably have to stay close to fit on the small-sized bed. Eh, it's fine. I wouldn't mind... Cuddling, with him, yeah.

"Wait, Snipes, can you sleep with me this time? You don't hafta sleep on the floor, ya know?" The runner remarked as he saw Sniper setting up a small makeshift bed on the ground. "Ah, alright." The man chuckled, dismantling the makeshift bed, taking the pillows and placing it on top of the bed, right next to Scout's. "I'll cook dinner, want to come with?"

Scout tilted his head, wondering where Sniper would go. His van had a sink, counter and portable grill, why would he bother going anywhere else? The base's kitchen was more high-tech, but it wasn't often he went to base. The only reason he went to the dining hall for breakfast that morning was because of Scout, even. "Where are ya goin'?"

"Outside. It's more fun that way." He walked over to the portable grill, as well as a bucket of a certain fish he knew Scout enjoyed. Sniper couldn't help but smile as Scout's eyes filled with excitement at the sight of the freshly caught fish. "C'mon." The marksman gestured to Scout, lifting the bucket and grill. Scout followed along, standing up from the bed; he wondered what was so interesting about cooking outside, but at the same time it seemed interesting. As he closed the door behind him, the sight of what was outside was absolutely gorgeous.

As Sniper set up the grill and set the bucket of fish onto a table, Scout looked around the scenery of Teufort at night. Sniper's van was parked relatively far from the base, so Scout didn't normally see such scenery. His eyes widened in admiration as hundreds of fireflies shined and flew around the runner. The shining bugs flew across the sandy grounds of Teufort, illuminating the night sky like a million stars. "It's a beaut at night, isn't it?" Sniper smiled, turning the grill on. Soon, Scout would smell the scent of freshly fried fish; it smelled amazing. As Scout sniffed the aroma of freshly cooked food, he looked at the seasoning Sniper was sprinkling onto the fish; all the spices and herbs Sniper seasoned the fish with looked heavenly, too. He's a really good cook, holy crap.

"Yeah, holy crap Snipes! Thanks for showing me this, it's really cool." Scout grinned, taking a seat on a lawn chair beside Sniper's. Suddenly, the marksman remembered about earlier, and decided to bring the topic up. "Ah, right. I remember something," The marksman said as Scout tilted his head. "We have to talk about what you said earlier."

"While I was drunk?"

"No, in the morning. What you said to Medic and Heavy." Sniper sighed, the memory still vivid in his head. Scout had called him his boyfriend despite the two not being in any serious relationship, but merely friends with benefits. "You suggested you were in a relationship with me, right? Now, I'm not mad or anything, I'm just a bit confused."

Scout froze. Did he do the wrong thing earlier? He thought it'd be fine to say something like that, but he only really did it on impulse to brag. "Oh. Uh, right, that," The runner looked to his side, embarrassed to face Sniper. "I... Man, sorry. I wasn't thinking when I said that."
