The mood was tense as Sniper drove himself and Spy to the BLU base. Unlike the weather out at the RED team's base, it was cold. Snow and pine trees were all he could see as he looked out the window, squinting as he tried to look for the base in the rather barren landscape. Although the two were on a duo contract, after yesterday's argument, they could barely make eye contact. Wish I didn't have to do this.

"There it is. Shall we?" Spy asked, reloading his gun and wiping his knife clean. He was prepared to get this contract done, no matter how messy it'd get. All they had to do was get the intelligence. He's done it before, he knew he could do this easily.

"I know." He said. "C'mon. Let's just get this done with."

Sniper sighed. He didn't feel like talking to Spy after what had happened yesterday, but he didn't have much of a choice; the two were on a duo contract they'd have to fulfil together. Spy felt the same way, but he didn't ponder on it as much as the marksman did. The only thing on his mind was getting the contract done. He'd think about what to do later.

In front of them was the base of the BLU team, towering over Sniper's camper van. The two exited, taking a better look at the base; it wasn't too different from theirs. Spy scanned the area for any entrances they could sneak in through, but much to his dismay, the only entrance was being guarded by the enemy Soldier, who was pacing back-and-forth, patrolling.

The two were hidden behind the greenery dotted across the snowy landscape. Sniper shivered, not at all used to the weather. Spy glanced over at him, a small smile of amusement spreading across his face. "Not used to the cold?"

"...Nah. Crikey, why'd their base have to be out here... ?" He said through chattering teeth. Spy took a quick look at the base one last time before signaling to Sniper to stay. "Stay here. I'll take out the guard. If I get into trouble, I trust you'll have your rifle ready."

"Sure. G'luck, mate."

Spy cloaked, the sound faint as Sniper watched him sneak past the guard, unnoticed. He had barely managed to take his rifle out before he heard the muffled scream of the BLU Soldier, who got backstabbed by the cunning Spy. He gave a nod of approval, rushing down to Spy, his shoes making footprints in the snow. "Good one. He didn't see ya comin'."

"Of course. Let us move now." He pulled his revolver out, ready to fire at any approaching enemies. Sniper did the same, rifle in hand in case anyone ambushed the two. They cautiously made their way into the base, careful not to make noise. The layout was unfamiliar to them, but Spy was able to figure out where the intelligence was due to some signs guiding him.

"Oh, merde. Crossroads." Spy groaned, the two's walk coming to a halt. The halls split into two identical hallways–They could only guess which one led to the BLU team's intelligence. "Ah. We gotta split up, don't we?"

"I'm afraid so."

"Ah, piss . Where should we meet once we get the intel?" Sniper asked, an annoyed frown on his face.

"Entrance, we'll escape as quickly as possible," Spy explained. "For now, goodbye. We don't have all day. Proceed, fast ."

The man bid Sniper goodbye, walking into the left hallway in a rush. Sniper groaned. He'd have to go alone–He guessed he'd be sent through respawn unless he got incredibly lucky. The sharpshooter was never the best at close range combat, after all. Unsheathing his kukri, he held it close to him, ready to defend himself.

Proceeding, Sniper took a good look around the base, relaxing as he realised the enemy team had some sort of heater system in their base. It aided him quite a lot. The man couldn't exactly function well in the cold as well as he did in the heat.
