Sniper's eyes drifted open as the sun rose, its bright beams causing him to wake up. Right next to him was Scout, his best friend; although they were merely friends, the things they did in the shower yesterday suggested they were a lot more than just friends. The memory was still vivid in the marksman's head, as fleeting as it was. Doing his best to ignore the vulgar thoughts replaying in his head, he remembered about that chat with Spy today. Sniper sighed, not exactly excited to converse with the Frenchman. He didn't hate Spy, they actually got along relatively fine, he was just a bit worried. Did he disapprove of him and Scout? He sure hoped not, they weren't even in an actual relationship. Hope he didn't get the wrong idea.

Looking over to the runner, Sniper gave a small, yet genuine smile. He was still asleep, clad in Sniper's very own red button-up, mumbling something in his sleep. Sniper thought he looked kind of nice like this, but decided not to wake him up. It was early morning, the sun was still rising and the birds outside were chirping loudly.

Taking a mug, he filled it with some water and instant coffee. The rich scent of coffee and brown sugar wafted in the air, waking Scout up. He wasn't the biggest fan of coffee, but he enjoyed the scent. Rubbing his eyes, Scout got up and walked over to Sniper. "Mornin'." He said, following up with a yawn. "Ugh... Match today."

"G'morning, roo," Sniper smiled, taking a sip from his '#1 Sniper' mug, his favourite mug. "I'm about to leave, but ya can look through the cabinets or fridge if you're hungry." Scout gasped with excitement. Today was Medic's turn to cook, and he really wasn't looking forward to that. The doctor's cooking was highly questionable. "Hell yeah, thanks Snipes! I didn't wanna eat Medic's cooking today, anyway haha."

"Oh, neither do I. Heard it's disgusting." Sniper laughed, setting down his empty mug. "It really is, ya know. I ain't ever tryin' it again. Only Heavy can eat that stuff..." Scout shivered, remembering the first time he tried Medic's cooking. "Oh, well. We got a match today, ya should do the thing you said you were gonna do already, whatever it is. I gotta go anyway, needa prepare!"

Sniper gave a nod as Scout made his way outside of the van, carrying a bag of potato chips he assumed was from his cabinet. All of a sudden, he remembered the man's request yesterday— Scout apparently wanted to sleep with him again, that night. Maybe it was Sniper's turn to plan something today. He chuckled, changing into his usual outfit. Can't wait for tonight. I haven't felt like this in a while. Scout's a nice guy.

It was true, and Scout was the only thing in his head the entire time he walked over to the base. His thoughts only consisted of Scout's voice begging for more, and fantasies about what they'd possibly do tonight. As soon as he reached the camp, he was a giggling, grinning mess. That was of course, until Spy uncloaked right in front of him, dressed in his usual dark blue suit and balaclava, raising an eyebrow at the man's out-of-character expression.

"Good morning, Sniper. Here for our chat, I assume?"

"Huh, you kiddin' me? All I gotta do is stay here and make sure it doesn't break?" Scout groaned, standing next to the sentry gun beginning the slow process of building itself. "The match ain't even startin' soon! We still got a couple minutes!"

Engineer nodded, a frown on his face. Pyro tried to comfort him, gloved hands setting his flamethrower down to pat Engineer's back. "I'm alright, Pyro, thank you though." He smiled, before sighing. "Sorry, son. It's better safe than sorry. Y'all need these, too– They're important." This only led to more of Scout's groaning and complaints. He'd much rather be hanging out with Sniper right now, hell, maybe even eating Medic's disgusting cooking wouldn't be as excruciatingly terrible as this. Scout felt like he was going to die of boredom. "...Fine." He said, grabbing a chair and sitting down next to the teleporter. He wasn't exactly focused, munching on his bag of chips, but Engineer thought it was better than nothing. Maybe I'll see Snipes during the match. Ugh, I just wanna hang out with him right now. I ain't in the mood to just sit here. He thought, taking out a can of Bonk! he found lying around.
