Chapter 12: Meeting Prince Stolas

Sometime later, Prince Stolas has enough time at the party for the night and walks towards his royal chambers.

Stolas sighs, "Finally, I was able to get out of there." He yawns and says, "I think it's a good time as any to head to bed for the night."

Stolas walks to the bedroom door and is about to open the door. Suddenly, he heard a thud and a shout, "Ow!"

That caused him to come to a stop. Stolas eyes blink in shock to hear the thud and scream. He soon realizes that someone must be in his room. Thinking it could be an intruder, Stolas uses his powers to slowly open the door and slowly walks inside. Stolas takes a peek and notices horns are visual on the other side of his bed where the bookshelf is.

Close to the bookshelf, Blitz is rubbing the back of his head.

"Ow, that really hurts," Blitz says to himself.

He then picks up a book and rubs the injured head with his other hand. As it turns out, one of the books has fallen on Blitz's head by accident.

"I have to be careful. I'm kind of reading the prince's books without his permission, but what else can I do until things have settled down," Blitz says to himself.

Blitz then stands and looks at the bookshelf, "Now where did this fall off from."

As Blitz searches for the spot for the book, he isn't aware that by standing up, Stolas has a much clearer visual of him. His really peaked his curiosity and his concern, an Imp has somehow got into his chambers, and without anyone noticing.

"Here it is," Blitz says to himself and gently puts the book back.

He then notices, "Hmm, what's this?"

Blitz then takes out another book and turns its pages. Seeing him distracted, Stolas decides to be discreet so that he doesn't start screaming. Stolas levitates himself from the ground a bit and gently floats into the room, and softly closes the door behind him without Blitz noticing. Blitz continues to read the pages of the book with interest, unaware that the Goeita owl is now standing right behind him.

Stolas softly chuckles and says in a soothing tone, "Oh my - what a little imp like you doing within my chambers."

Blitz becomes startled and turns around to see the Prince is standing right behind him. Standing very tall and wearing his royal attire, and staring down at him with two pairs of crimson glowing eyes.

"I uh, just...uh, leaving... yeah... I was just leaving and uh..." Blitz nervously says, and begins to step back.

"You, hmm..." Stolas replies and gently tilts his head to the side, "Are not a face I recognize..."

"I uh... well...." Blitz softly says and rubs his right arm nervously, and isn't sure what to say.

"Tell me, why are you really here?" Stolas replies, and his eyes glow brighter

Blitz grows nervous to see his glowing red eyes and isn't sure what to say. Prince or not, Blitz doesn't want to lie to him. And he isn't sure if the prince will believe him if he explains what he and his friends were up to. Blitz lowers his head and his eye moves in different directions to avoid contact.

Just then, the black finger gently reaches under Blitz's chin and lifts it up for him to face Stolas and his glowing red eyes.

"I'm waiting..." Stolas says in a calm tone.

Seeing there is no other way out, Blitz has no choice but to confess.

Blitz sighs and says, "I...I'm sorry about this... you see one of my friends, Randall talked me and my other friend, Razor into coming and sneaking into your mansion to living up your party. And we ended up getting chased by your guards after falling off the balcony leading to your room. I ended up getting separated from my friends and ended up sneaking inside before they could find me. I mainly came into your room to hide out. I didn't think anyone would find me. Again, I am so sorry for intruding into your home and interrupting your party."
