Chapter 34: The Harvest Moon Festival

The next day, the Harvest Moon Festival is just about ready to begin. There are booths of food, games, vegetables, alcoholic drinks, like cider, beer, and other drinks. There are also some rides like horseback riding, hay rides, and other kinds of fun stuff. The first place everyone is heading to is the main stage where the Harvest Moon Festival announcements, games, and events take place.

At the stands, Millie, holding Mimmy, sits next to her parents, along with Berry and Loona to watch the games. In the contestants' area, Sarge, Moxxie, Drew, Razor, Randall, Blitz, Striker, Sallie Mae, and Millie's brothers are competing and waiting for the games to start. On the stage where Stolas is sitting under a tent holding his grimoire while Wally Wackford is taking the stage with his microphone.

Wally speaks dramatically, "Welcome, I say-a, welcome-a... all to Wrath-a Ring's-a annual-a Harvest-a Moon-a... a-Festival! To kick things up, we have the great prince Stolas-a, here to usher in this here Pain Games!"

After the little speech, Stolas takes the microphone with a chuckle and says, "How kind, Wackford."

Then announces, "Greetings, tiny... Wrath Ring Imps! I hereby welcome you all to another year of celebrating the spoils of your labor that continue to feed the citizens of Hell!"

And he receives some glares and boos from the crowd of Imps.

Stolas continues, "I'm happy to kick off the start of these games that will challenge the toughest demon to show their skill in dominance. Good luck to you all!"

And Stolas adds, "Especially that cute little one there." And happily waves, "Yoo-hoo! Blitzy!"

Blitz blushes a bit, but he smiles and waves back.

Randall calls out, "Hey! No favoritism!

Just then, the gun goes off and the Harvest Moon Festival Pain Games begins.

The first round is the obstacle course. Sarge and Striker are taking the lead. Striker climbs up a wooden ramp structure and reaches the top. Sarge jumps up and climbs over the ledge and jumps to the other side ahead of Striker. Striker jumps off and is not far behind. Blitz, Moxxie, and the others are able to climb up and jump down to the ground. Moxxie almost loses his balance and falls into the small puddle and the Shark tries to attack him. Randall then lands on the shark's head and bounces off, giving Moxxie time to escape.

The next round is some kind of rope tying competition. Striker is able to tie up Drew's arms and legs with his horns as well. Sarge ends up tying up Sallie May with her arms tied behind her back as he pins her to the ground, much to Millie's satisfaction. A muscular Imp tries to get a tie on Moxxie, but Moxxie is not making it easy for him. In fact, Moxxie is able to lasso him and has his arms tied to his body. Blitz and the others are doing fine as well.

The next event is the tug-a-war competition. Sarge, Moxxie, Blitz, and Striker are on one team, and there are three male Imps on the other team. The two teams tug on the rope with all their might until the rope snaps. Moxxie almost falls in the water, but Sarge catches him with his tail.

And then, the next event is Mud Wrestling. One round is Sarge vs. Striker. Striker manages to have Sarge on the ground. Sarge then gains the upper hand, and Striker and Sarge strength matches.

At another match, Blitz is actually wrestling against Sally Mae. The two wrestle, and at first Sally has the upperhand, but then Blitz counters, much to Stolas' excitement.

Meanwhile, A group of Imps dogs pile on Moxxie and get up off of him to see him being pressed into the dirt. The shark leaps over the fence and begins to elbow drop on Moxxie.

Moxxie screams, "MOTHER FUC-!"

Cuts later on to the Award Ceremony of the Harvest Moon Pain Games.
