Getting high was fun and all, but when it was the same thing over and over again, it got tiring. For Tori getting high wasn't fun anymore, it was beginning to feel like a nightmare.Depression started to hit harder. It hit the most when she was sober. 'What was the point of living, the world is better without me. I don't have anyone and my foster parents hate me, and no one is on my side.' She thought to herself.
She was in a dark place.
-
Tori overheard her foster mom and foster father arguing. "She's 19 she can find her own place." Her foster mother told him."She doesn't have a job? Where will she stay? If you kick her out she'll be homeless." He told his wife.
"I don't know let's just put her back into the orphanage for now. someone else will deal with her." The foster mother replied.
"You gotta think this through, I mean..I don't agree with this." He said.
"Well I don't care I'm tired of seeing her in this house she does nothing to help this family, I don't want her in my house anymore." The mother said smoking her cigarette.
"Oh my god keep your voice down what if she hears you?"
"Let her, she's gonna find out anyway. Either today or tomorrow because she's not staying in this house anymore. I've said what I had to say."
Tori had tears in her eyes.
They didn't even want her.
She was going to be back to square one.
