Tori packed her clothing In her drawer on her side of the room. Once she was done unpacking she laid in her bed a bit tired. Then suddenly a bell rung. "What's that?" Tori asked getting up."It's the lunch bell, when it comes on we all go down for lunch because we all eat at once, come on let's go." Dina said walking out the room as Salem followed.
Tori got up and followed the girls down for lunch. Everyone sat down at their tables and waited for the food.
"Now everyone we must pray before we eat. Let us thank god for bringing food to our table today." Sister Judy had said.
"Everyone close your eyes and clasp your hands as we pray." Sister Judy said once again.
The kids clasped their hands and closed their eyes, so did the nuns.
"We thank you god for bringing yet another meal to our table today for the children to eat, we thank you for blessing us with this wonderful meal, you are gracious and you are good. We thank thee once more, amen." The nun said finishing off her prayers.
The food had finally been served.
"Okay children you may eat."
The sisters had their own table in which they sat down and had their meals.
"The food looks so good!" Dina said happily.
"Let's dig in." Salem said smiling.
But unlike the others, Tori didn't have an appetite. The food looked delicious, but she just wasn't hungry. She got up and left the table going upstairs to her room. Sister Anna saw this and immediately went to go check on her. Sister Anna knocked on the door. "Tori?"
"Come in." Tori said covering herself with her blanket. "How come you haven't eaten? Is everything okay?" Sister Anna asked. "No everything isn't okay. I don't really know how to explain what I feel, but I am not okay and I didn't feel like eating so I decided not to eat." Tori said sighing.
"I understand. I know sometimes it can be hard, but things will be okay I promise. You are a young teenager with a bright future ahead of you. I can already see it, and god as told me something very special to tell you."
Tori didn't really believe in all that worship nonsense.
It didn't really help her.
"What do you mean?" Tori asked sister Anna.
"Well he's said that there will come a time when all you're sorrows will end. For now you are going through this trail of hardship, but your time will come." Sister Anna said hugging her.
"Thanks I guess." Tori said smiling slightly.
"Of course. You must eat, I've brought You're food for you." Sister Anna said giving Tori her food. "At least eat some, you don't have to eat all of it..just make sure you dont starve yourself okay? I just want you to be okay.." sister Anna said looking at her with a saddened face expression.
Tori had felt bad for making sister Anna worry. "You don't have to be worried about me I'll be fine and I'll eat I promise." Tori said slowly eating her food. "Good..I hope you'll be okay. I'll go back down now. I'm going to eat with the other sisters enjoy You're food." Sister Anna smiled as she left the room.
