The girls started practicing the song hallelujah. Meanwhile Salem practiced on her piano. " Salem wow you are very good with the piano. I didn't even have to teach you to play. Hallelujah. I guess you already knew?"" actually, it was one of the first songs I learned while being in the orphanage with the other girls. There's a piano at the orphanage so I would always play. That was the first song that I know, and it's kind of easy to play for me so." Salem said smiling.
"Good as long as you're having fun." Esther told Salem.
"Everyone lets warm up our voices to practice!"
Esther said as the girls started warming up their voices with her all together.-
"Okay everyone I hope you all enjoyed the first day of practice. Remember be on time tomorrow and enjoy the rest of your day. I'll see you guys tomorrow again.""You too!!"
"See you tomorrow!"
"Enjoy your day!!"
Everyone got up and left.
It was a long day of practice and the girls were tired.
Tori though wanted to stay back.
"Tori my love do you have any questions?"
"No I'm just I'm really inspired by you is all and I know you probably have heard this a lot. You might have a lot of fans who look up to you but ever since you came to the convent I just I felt a great energy from you and it made me wanna be just like you I don't know I might sound crazy."
" no you don't sound crazy at all and that actually means a lot to me. My fans do tell me how much they love me but I've never once got told that I inspired someone. I guess I was waiting for someone to tell me that but I'm not as famous as you think I am I just have a few fans but thank you for saying that is singing you're dream as well..?" Esther asked.
" well, at first, I didn't even know singing was my dream. I just loved singing a lot. It got me through hard times at home. even though I did get adopted by my foster parents when I was a young age at the orphanage, they ended up sending me back 19 years later..and it made me think I just don't understand why they adopted me in the first place if they never liked me at all or even considered me a daughter."
"I'm so sorry you went through that. I hope that music will continue to help you. If it's your dream you should follow through with it and you know maybe one day you'll be just like me. I remember when I was just like you when I was younger. I got inspired by one of the nuns who were singing and they helped me join the choir and now look at me today. All I did was believe and have faith and I followed my dreams so I hope you can do the same."
"Thank you so much. I will." Tori said hugging her.
"Yes. Now run along. Go with the other girls."
"See you tomorrow."
"You too Tori."
