She blames herself for this, it was stupid, it was a small mistake she easily could've avoided, but she was just too tired to care, and that was a mistake, a big one.

She had gotten back from softball practice at school and her and Alex called, she had showered and changed and was comfortable. It was nearing 11pm and she was tired, her and Alex were on the phone but she didn't want to hang up, she isn't sure when Alex had fallen asleep, or if he fell asleep after her, all she knew was one minute she was awake and the next she wasn't.

When Hannah woke up, she couldn't find her phone, it was taken off of its charger and she looked around for it everywhere. At first she thought it fell off of her bed, but it wasn't anywhere in her room, so she went to her mom and asked. Her mom told her she didn't have it, and for the next few hours she looked around for it.

Then she realized someone must've taken it, so she went back to her mom, and her mom told her to come with her upstairs. Hannah didn't think that much of it until her mom sat down on the bed and told her to sit too,

Thats when she knew she was in trouble.

Turns out, when Hannah was sleeping her mom went into her room, saw her phone unlocked and decided to go through it. And she found everything, her texts between her and Alex, between her other friends and family. She also found her nudes that she had sent Alex, she found literally everything.

There was a lot of screaming and crying coming from her mom, a lot of religious talks, and some arguing, but Hannah managed to get her phone back. She texted Alex everything, and the two talked about it. She got her phone taken away for a little bit and the two called from Hannah's laptop instead, Alex was really the only thing keeping her from going crazy.

This went on for a little bit, they'd call on her laptop, her mom would yell at her and get all passive aggressive, then she'd go to sleep, wake up, and do it all over again. She really had no one but Alex, she couldn't tell her cousin, she would judge her, her sister would judge her, her friends probably would do. Alex was the only person she could really trust, and talk to. And she loved him for not just leaving when things got like this, she never expected him to, but still, it was nice.

Her mental state was really getting worse because of this, because of the things her mom would say, the way she treated her, Hannah knew it wasn't the end of the world, but it really felt like it at that moment.

This went on for a little bit, eventually she got her phone back and they'd go back to calling each other on her phone. Alex was also going through a lot, so it was a lot for both of them because his mom didn't want him to be with her either,

After a little bit, the two talked about meeting up again, but since Hannah's mom knows about him now, there's no way she can get her dad to take her so she would have to go on her own. At first she thought one of her friends could take her, she asked around but unfortunately no one could, but one of her friends told her she might be able to get her a ride, but that didn't really work out.

But just when she felt like she was losing hope, one of her friends told her that her sister could take her, and everything was going great after that, she told Alex and they made a plan for her to come the upcoming Saturday. She thought it was going to work, but it didn't.

A few days before Saturday, her friend texted her and told her that her sister had passed away, Hannah was upset, but obviously didn't make her not being able to go a big deal to her friend and comforted her instead. Everyone was saying that maybe it was a sign for her not to go if someone literally died right when she was about to, but Hannah refused to just give up, she had to see him, at least one more time. It was all she wanted. She wanted to be in his arms again, and she wanted to kiss him and cuddle with him,

She told Alex and they both then decided that maybe she could Uber, and there really was no luck with that, she didn't have the money for it and no one was willing to pay for it, she asked her friends if they could lend some money, they said no, which Hannah wasn't really surprised about, then just when she was losing hope, one of her old coworkers told her she could get her an Uber. Everything was starting to work out the way she wanted it to again,

But it didn't.

Her Uber canceled on her last minute, her mom wouldn't let her out the house because she didn't trust her. There was no way she could go, and she felt her heart break.

She told Alex that she couldn't go, he didn't really get his hopes up that much, and she wish she would've done that. They called again, and Alex told her that he was going to tell his mom about everything happening to him, and that he wanted to get some help, go into a mental institution, and Hannah knew that once he did that it was really going to be over for the two of them, they have called every single day for the last few months, every day.

They called the day before he was going to tell his mom, she cried a little, and a lot when the called ended. She loved him so much, it hurt so bad.

The next day, she took the day off from school to stay home and call him, they talked for a little bit, she cried a little again, they told each other how much they loved each other, and then he went to tell his mom,

They didn't speak for 8 days after that, she kept track. Every day she thought of him, she texted him an i love you every day, she missed him so much and part of her was beginning to think that he didn't miss her as much as she missed him,

But he did. On her way home from school she got a text from him, and even though the text was sad, even though it was about him telling her that they couldn't take anymore, she was still happy and she still smiled because he didn't forget about her, he still really loved her and he also thought of her every day. She did come very close to crying in the middle of the bus, but she stopped herself,

They called at around 8pm that day, after she had come home from practice, and he told her to act like it was a regular call and not their last.

They talked for hours, and when it was time to go she cried, again. They told each other they loved each other for the last time, and then they ended it.
