Things were going well for the two of them, they would call and text everyday. It was summer so they didn't have school, and because of this instead of calling only at night like they used to, they would call throughout the day, sometimes they would break the call up into sections and other times they would stay on the phone for most of the day. They didn't really fall asleep on the phone that much, mainly because it wasn't something Alex did that often, but they have a few times, and every time they did Hannah loved it, she loved going to sleep knowing Alex was sleeping with her, it was nice.
Alex and Hannah have talked about meeting up before, they've made plans before when they were talking on Instagram about meeting, but it never happened back then. Hannah's parents would never allow her to go and hang out with a boy, they would never even consider it, and Alex didn't have anyone to take him, so they both would've loved the idea of meeting up but they were sure it would never happen. That was until one day, Hannah realized that her dad was going to the same state Alex lived in for work, he would go there at least once a week, drop some shipment off or pick something up and then go back to work, so Hannah told Alex about it and the two decided to give it a shot and have Hannah ask her dad. Hannah didn't think it would work but she did it anyways, they made up this lie where Alex had a sister, Hannah would go see Alex's sister and not him.
It took some convincing, but to her surprise, her dad agreed. She couldn't believe it, they were just talking about how they probably wouldn't be able to meet up, and now they could, it was crazy. She was so happy, she told Alex and he was also really happy, but they both didn't want to get their hopes up just in case her dad changed his mind, Alex also had to ask his mom if it was okay first too.
Even though they didn't want to get their hopes up, they still talked about it and went over all the things they could do once Hannah came over. One of the first things they wanted to do was hug, really tight, they also wanted to play video games, and cuddle. They talked about doing other things too, sexual things, but Hannah wasn't so sure about doing anything too intense, neither was Alex but they just decided to go along with whatever happens,
Eventually, Alex's mom agreed, it took some convincing because she didn't like the lie they came up with, but she allowed Hannah to come over, and Hannah's dad wasn't changing his mind, so it was happening, she was coming over.
There was about a million things going through her mind while she was in the car; what if Alex's mom didn't like her? Or if his dog bit her leg off? Or what if Alex didn't think she was actually pretty in real life? The stress from that, plus her doing her makeup in a moving car made her really car sick. She really liked Alex, she didn't want him to think she was unattractive or had a boring personality, they've only ever talked through the phone.
She got even more nervous once she pulled up at his house, she couldn't stop smiling but her heart was beating so fast she was afraid it would rip out of her chest. She walked to his doorstep and texted him saying she was here, and when he opened the door and saw him, the only thing going through her mind was 1. "Oh my God he's real" and 2. "He's so fucking hot". She could tell he was also nervous, which made her feel better because she wasn't the only one. She had her backpack with her, it was full of snacks and drinks because Alex's birthday had passed and it was his birthday present. She also brought a wax machine with her because she wanted to wax his legs, they talked about it and it took a lot of convincing but she managed to get him to agree. She walked into his house, making sure her dad was gone just in case she saw Alex. Hannah saw his mom in the kitchen and greeted her, she was nice but Hannah was still freaking out. Alex took her backpack and led her to the couch where he first made fun of her bag, then opened it. After a few minutes, he led her to his room, she almost stepped in dog pee on the way there but she was trying to play it cool,, she didn't want him to think she was some dork or loser, that would be embarrassing.
