Harry's POV

I can't believe I slept through my alarm this morning. My plan was to wake early, making my way to the tea shop, were hopefully Louis would be working. It was now 9.30, I got up and showered. Luckily I still had clean clothes in my case as I'd been wearing uniform most of the week. I checked over my appearance for what must have been the fifth time before heading out.

The hotel was in the centre of town so was around a fifteen minutes walk. Luckily the rain had stopped though the morning air was fresh, making my nose run a little. I eventually got to outside the shop. I looked in but I could only see Anne, the lady from last night and a much younger blonde girl behind the counter.

Making my way in, I noticed that it was much busier today. Probably people making their way into town to shop. I looked around to see if I could find a vacant table. I could see a small table by the window though unfortunately facing the window, which to most would be as good spot but not for me. If Louis was here I wouldn't be able to sneakily look.

"Hi, what can I get you?" The blonde greeted me as I reached the till. "Good morning, can I get a bacon roll and a tea please?"  "Will that be all?" she smiled "yes, I'll be sat over there by the window" pointing over to the small table. "Perfect, I'll bring it over when it's ready" I set off towards my seat, I need to know when Louis will be working so I turn back to the till. " Hi, sorry to bother you" she greeted me again with a smile. "Is Louis working today?" "He is sir, he's just busy in the office at the moment, should I say you're here?" Not really wanting to make a fuss I shyly shake my head "erm.. no it's okay, I was just wondering" I turn making my way to my seat, taking out my phone checking through socials.

"One bacon roll and one tea, sir" thank you I replied to the blonde girl who quickly turned in her heels to return back to the queue of customers now formed at the counter.

After eating my breakfast I stared out onto the high street watching people busily getting on with their day. Men in suits walking whilst on their phones, family's walking together enjoying their day and couples strolling hand in hand. I was lost in my own little world when I felt a presence behind me. "Harry" I quickly snapped out of my thoughts and turned to see the blue eyed boy standing above me. "Hi Louis" I greeted warmth spreading across my body, remembering the naughty things Id been thinking the previous evening. "Bet you didn't expect to see me again" I said jokingly. "My van needed some work so I'm staying in a hotel in the centre, thought I'd come and have breakfast" he looked surprised but also happy to see me. We continued to hold our stare, looking into each others eyes, blue meeting green. "So yeah" I continued snapping myself out of my trance "I wanted to come in and say thank you for being so kind to me last night." "It was no trouble Harry, I wouldn't of wanted you being sat out in the cold, I wouldn't have kicked you out on the street" his smile sweet, his eyes kind. "Well thank you Louis" he gave me a smile, placing his hand on my shoulder "anytime" he replied before making his way back over to the counter before returning. "I will give you my card, if you need anything at all whilst you're here give me a shout yeah?" I take the card from him looking down,

"Thank you, I will"

I finish my tea and thank the ladies at the counter before leaving. Card still in hand, and if I read the card another couple of times nobody needs to know.

Louis POV

"I gave Harry my number" I say out loud to myself, wrapping my arms around my waist for comfort, when I returned to my office. "What was I thinking?" I continue to question myself. He'll think I'm some sad lonely idiot.
Taking a deep breath, I sat at my desk. "It's fine, it will all be fine" I hoped anyway.

The thing was I had feelings for the tall green eyed boy, like I really fancied him, he was gorgeous. But I didn't even know if he was single. He could be a straight married man with a family waiting for him back home and here I was giving him my number. Yes, in case he needed help whilst he was stranded here in Doncaster, but it was plain to see that the real reason, I gave him my card was in the hope that he would contact me and not only if he needed the number of a good take away.

The rest of the day went by pretty quickly. I had arranged to meet some friends in town that evening so left early to get home and ready for a much needed night out.

"Niall, are you ready?" Niall was one of my closest friends. We had been friends since high school. We've been pretty inseparable since. "I'm ready love, let's go" Niall shouted back as he made his way downstairs.

We made our way into town, we were to meet a couple of other friends in the pub which was local to where we lived. I lived just round the corner from Niall which made life easy.

"What times Liam and Zayn going to be here? "I asked as we entered the pub. Busy with people starting their evening and some that had clearly been there since lunch time. "They should be here" he replied, scanning the room. "Over there" he pointed to the pool table.

We went to the bar and ordered our drinks before making our way over to meet the boys who were currently arguing over if Zayn had accidentally touched another ball with his cue. "Boys calm down, it's just a game" I didn't really get why people took pool so seriously. It wasn't really my thing.

Just as they turned to me with 'the look' meaning they were going to tell me why it was important which could take minutes or hours, my phone vibrated in my pocket notifying me of a message. "Saved by the bell" I laughed before taking my phone from my pocket and checking to see who had text.

Unknown number - Hi, its Harry. The guy stranded in Doncaster. Just wanted to say thank you again. I hope you're having a pleasant evening. I'll probably see you again before I leave Monday. Until then enjoy your weekend x

I smiled down at my phone reading the message again. I had his number now. I wasn't sure if this was a good thing to have whilst I was out drinking, but I was happy about it nevertheless.

I walked back over to the pool table where they were all now playing happily. "Who was that?" Liam asked, eyebrow raised. I wasn't sure why he was looking at me like that. "Just a customer, he's kind of stranded here until he can get back home on Monday. I gave him my business card in case he ran into any issues." All three boys looking at me now. "And as he?" I look at them all with a blush to my cheeks. "No, he was just texting me to say have a good weekend"

I continued to fill them in on the curly haired boy. All three now whistling at me and mocking me. "Oh, be quiet" I sass before returning to my phone.

Louis- Hi Harry, like I said before it's no problem. I'm currently out in town with friends. They're currently arguing over pool. Yes it would be good to see you before you go back. X

I send the message, waiting for it to notify me it's been delivered. I get a thought; this may be a great idea or one of my worst, but the drinks are going down well and definitely helping with my confidence

Louis - what are you up to this evening?
