      Canon Fox had been going to cousins with the Fishers and Conklin's ever since she could remember. The girl was close with everyone but had always clicked with the oldest Fisher son, Conrad, the most. Though Canon got along fairly well with Jeremiah they often bumped heads, despite this Susannah was still convinced the two were made for each other, and practically brought it up any chance she could get. Canon never really believed the older woman though, but this summer changed that, it was just different, the girl had bloomed and everyone could see that.
