One| road trip

My family's been going to Susannah's beach house every summer since I was a baby, since before I was even born. All year long, I count the day until I'm in that house.

The fishers and conklins dads came to visit, mine did too until he passed, but it was never their place.

The summer house is made up of lots of things. The beach, the swimming pool late at night, movie nights with Belly and the moms, but the boys, the boys most of all. It's the same every summer, I've always loved that about it.

For me everything good, everything magical happens between the months of June and August.

"What am I going to do all summer without you" my bestfriend Noel wined

"Noel there's plenty to do, plus you can call me whenever and I'll answer. Not to mention you'll be coming down for my birthday" I tried to reason with the aburn haired girl

"Okay but like your so lucky, you get to spend your whole summer at the beach living with three hot guys"

I suck my fingers in my mouth pretending to gag "Ew Noel, what hot guys? We aren't talking about the same boys are we?"

Noel giggled "Canon don't act like you haven't wanted Jeremiah Fisher to shove his tongue down your throat since you where like what? Twelve."

"Noel I'm over that, I've been over that for like two years"

"That's what you say" Noel rolled her eyes

"I thought you came here to help me pack?" I shrugged

"Fine I will help, here's a tip, don't bring that Speedo" "It doesn't do a thing for your new boobs"

"It's not a Speedo"

"I'm just saying CeCe, you need to pack cute things" the girl stretched herself out on my bed

"I usually buy a new suit when I get there" I reasoned

"Look at all these cute bathing suits, you got when we went shopping a couple weeks ago" "We literally got them for cousins. You have to bring them come on." Noel groaned

"Okay okay I will, it's just that, I don't know. Their kind of reveling." I picked up the pink v-neck bathing suit that was layed on my white vanity.

"That's the whole point, you'd look super hot in that. Jeremiah would drop dead"

I rolled my eyes. "For the last time I don't care about Jeremiah he was just a stupid schoolgirl crush," "But whatever I'll bring it" I laughed, shoving the pink bathing suit into my bag.

"Canon everyone knows that's a lie" Noel said looking straight at me

"It's not like it would matter even if it was, Jeremiah has never and will never see me like that"

"Oh but he will, whether he likes it or not I guaranty he will notice you. Nonnie you look a lot different than you did last year."

"Canon we're leaving in the next ten minutes" I hear my mom yell for the next room

"You have to go" I said sadly

"Noo" Noel groaned, standing up
"You still have ten more minutes"

"Noel you have to" I laughed pushing her out the door, as I followed behind

"Rude" she crossed her arms once we where outside of my front door

"Whatever" I giggled "I'll see you soon" I have the taller girl a hug

"Love you" she pulled away

"Love you too!" I yelled as she was already making her way down the street to her house, which was only a few blocks away. She turned around and dramatically blew me a kiss.
