Chapter 2

Later, Macie arrived at a scene where apparently a group of lizards attacked a local bistander. "I'm at the place, let me know if you see anything suspicious." Macie whispers to Ethan with her earbud. Even though she is highly skilled, she can sometimes mess up. And even though she seems to be alone, she can hear an odd hissing noise coming from one of the shipping containers. "Guys, I can hear something. Cover me!" Macie lets them know about the weird noises she hears. She silently checks the container which has a hole in it. She looks inside the hole and what she sees is horrifying! "What the?" She tells herself. What she sees can only be described as a robotic dinosaur that has the body and shape of a Utahraptor. She quickly backs away until she hears a gust of wind from her side which makes her more on edge. She sneaks away a bit more quickly until the gust of wind feels more heavy, revealing the person behind her, but the person was quickly hit back by the unsheathing of a sword. But it wasn't just Macie's sword, it was someone else's. "A-Alex? So it was you who was behind all this?" Alex gets up and corrects Macie over her assumption. "I don't know what you're talking about." Macie still doesn't believe Alex until a slash from a sword cuts Alex's chest which severely hurts her. "Now you know what she's talking about!" It was a red robot with a helmet full of spikes but with a very human face. "So you're the Macie everyone praises?" The robot asks. "Maybe? I'm not even sure myself." The robot grabs his sword and taunts Macie even more. "Well, if it is you. Let's see why everyone is ecstatic over your skills!" Macie gets more frustrated. "Alright you piece of scrap metal." Macie gets ready while the robot says one more sentence before starting. "Let's dance!" They both quickly unsheath they're swords and start fighting! Macie gets the upper hand but doesn't keep it for long, the robot slashes at Macie, getting a bit of hair off her ponytail. "Hey, nobody gives me a bad haircut!" Frustrated, Macie lashes out at the robot, but the robot lashes out at her first cutting her hand! But the cut doesn't faze her, but the cut was just a distraction, because the robot is now gone. Macie is still on edge over the fact that he can jump outta nowhere. "Ethan, let me know if you see anything suspicious." But Ethan doesn't reply, Macie gets worried for him until she sees him running towards someone, or something. Macie chases Ethan until she sees him disappear off the side of the cliff. Until she notices that Ethan landed on the train that was going outta the tunnel. Macie jumps onto the train and sees Ethan square up to the robot. "Hey you!" He calls out to the robot, which replies back to him. "Oh, I heard about you. Ethan isn't it?" The robot asks. "Yes, it IS me!" Ethan says in frustration. "Oh, so you're the weak one!" The robot taunts him, which makes him sprint at him in anger. But the robot isn't fazed by his sudden movement. Macie sees what Ethan does and warns him. "Ethan, stop!" But she said a little too late, when Ethan got closer to him, he quickly unsheathed his sword with a quick slash, cutting Ethan's arm off! Macie in shock and Ethan in fear, the robot sits there and laughs at him. "Look at yourself, so weak!" The robot taunts him even more until Ethan snaps and grabs his gun and stabs the sharp end into his eye! "Gah, you worthless piece of-" Macie jumps in front of Ethan to protect him, but the loss of blood from his arm being cut off makes him feel light and passes out. Macie gets worried and quickly calls over Trisha. "Trisha, I need your help. It's Ethan!" Trisha doesn't want to go over the fact that Ethan needs help. "He can help himself!" Macie gets frustrated and right when Trisha finally decides to go, The red robot raises his sword at her until someone stops him. "Stop it Slash!" The person that stopped the robot named Slash is a girl with purple hair and a scythe as a weapon. And also has a robotic bat that follows her around. "Who are you?" Macie asks the mystery person. "I'm just a blood relative of one of your members." This message gives Macie more questions than answers, but before she can get some answers, both of them disappear. While Trisha arrived a little too late. "Okay, let's see what this loser got himself this-" Trisha is shocked over Ethan's injury and starts regretting saying all of the bad things about him, but before she could apologize, Macie brings him to a hospital so he can get healed. Or maybe this is the end for him?
