"Welcome,everyone." Rosie addressed the crowd. "Today,I'll be discussing the Distortion phenomenon,in my home Universe."
The crowd murmured. The Distortion phenomenon was not limited to the Library of Ruina universe?
"As you can tell,I have discovered the Distortion phenomenon takes place I'm my home universe." Rosie switched slides on her presentation. "The main difference being who causes it. In the Library of Ruina Universe,it caused by a well intentioned yet misunderstanding Carmen AKA Angela,and in my Universe,it's caused by HATE."
The crowd whispered. HATE? That can't be good.
Rosie flipped to her next slide. "Another important difference is how often it manifests. It can manifest several times in my home universe. Even sometimes back to back, albeit rarely. But....it can also he reversed through help with the emotions that caused it."
She flipped to her next slide.
"And now,for my next point. The E.G.O phenomenon is also within my home universe. It acts differently. Instead of being equipment,it changes how the person tends to look. It also goes by the name Psychoment. Psychological Augmentation. The new look also grants new abilities. Take,for instance,myself."
Rosie changed the slide,showing her new lion like features.
"I have gained several powers through my Psychoment. My eyeglasses prescription improved,and hasn't budged since. I can now see better in the dark,even better than before. My hearing has improved,and my tinnitus has gone away."
Rosie sighed.
"But....there are downsides to Psychoment. Mainly,you have to go through so much trouble to get it. You must fully accept your distorted self or yourself for who you are. Which I'll admit,is a very difficult process. I went through it myself. And personally? I think it's worth it."
Rosie changed slides.
"Another downside is that you'll also no longer be able to host any amount of HATE in your body. For some people,that means getting rid of tiny beneficial amounts of HATE. But....Psychoment does give you the benefits of HATE without the draw backs,as I have noticed. I've noticed my wounds heal faster and that the strength of my magic has improved."
Rosie changed slides.
"And that's the end. Any questions?"
No one raised their hand.
