Metallic metaphors work best on Hangry.
Cobalt wrote to himself in his notes as he thought about that pig. He had always captivated his attention in more than one way. He had lots of…interesting traits to him.
Iron sinews.
Hangry was very strong. VERY strong. Breaking metal walls if they were nothing. Effortlessly lifting Dynamo Rollers and Hydra Splatlings, and so much more to list about the feats of strength that pig could pull off. Hell, he even managed to pick up Echo, of all people!
Heart of gold.
Hangry had a soft spot, However. Small children. Masu and Wurt were the biggest examples. He had effectively taken both in, and Cobalt wasn't that interested in being a dad at first, but now he saw the appeal. He loved both of his fishy children.
Mind like a steel anvil.
To quote Hangry; “Whenever Cobalt starts talking about chemistry, it's like he's talking in a foreign language. He makes no damn sense!” His main weak point was his lack of intellect. Hangry wasn't the smartest pig around, but he was strong in his own way. Plus, Cobalt more than made up for that weak point.
Attention span of lawrencium-258.
Whenever food was involved, Hangry was easily sidetracked. Cobalt couldn't even remember the amount of times he caught Hangry eating in his lab, a big no-no in lab safety, and thus had to be kicked out until he finished eating. Cobalt was most likely the only reason why that pig had not maimed himself yet.
Lethality of cobalt-60.
Hangry had a high kill count. Despite all his shortcomings, Hangry had found what he did best and focused on those to deadly efficiency. Most mortals, once they got to Joy Joy Land, were either killed by him, Lucky, Cobalt himself, Waverly, or Penny. Hangry was one of the more lethal members of the gang, and everyone knew that. He was one of the Big Three, after all.
Utility of tungsten.
Hangry was one of the more widely useful of the gang in any situation, thanks to his strength. It had practical use, alongside deadly use. Lifting heavy objects was the main one, Cobalt often had asked him to pick up his more heavy chemistry equipment several times, and he did it with little effort.
I wonder what kind of metaphors Hangry would use to describe me? Food? Definitely food, knowing him.
Cobalt chuckled as he wrote that to himself in his notes. He knew Hangry too well, it seemed.
He closed his notebook, and walked away. He loved his pig, and his pig loved him. It was heaven to the two of them, and it was pure joy to be in love with someone who loved you back.
