Shamura sat down at their table. Their followers had come to them and asked for a drawing. Since the next day was a full moon, they agreed.

They shuffled the deck. The ways of the tarot was a bit hard to them understand due to their brain and skull injury, but it was simple enough. They took a deep breath and drew the first card.

The Lovers I
A heart offered,a vow made.

A peculiar card. It was strange of the bishops to make a vow to anyone. But given the potential threat that entity had,Shamura saw why the card might be draw. Next card.

Gift from Below
A generous return for your offering.

Ah. Makes sense now. The vow would be mutually beneficial for both parties. They chuckled, making sure to repeat the cards they already drew and their meanings so they wouldn't forget. Onto the next card.

The Arachnid
The venom of fear knows no cure.

.....And there goes their good mood. So the vow was made because of fear.....fear of what? What could make the bishops fear? Well, besides for that Lamb, but what else? Maybe the next card would answer it.

Death's Door
Hope to be Turned away.

Sh*t. NOT GOOD. Shamura shook their head. Death. Death was coming for them. And it potentially had no cure. What was the next card....

Strength from Without
What doesn't kill you makes you stronger.

Finally! A good card! So they could be saved. But by who? The person they made the vow with. It was making sense now.

Weeping Moon
Fear not the Terror of the night.

So they would come at night. Shamura nodded, starting to repeat that to themselves. It was time to tell the other bishops. Maybe their siblings had some insight. Oh well. Let's hope they believe them. 2nd to last card.

The Hearts III
A major remedy.

Of course the one destined to save them had the cure. Of course they would. Now.....how many saviors is the question? They drew the last card.

The Path ++
Banish fear! Banish doubt! Move forth unhesistant.

Given it was the ++ version of the card, two saviors. Giving a satisfied huff,Shamura reshuffle the deck, renewed the energy within them, and put them back in their box. Shamura stood up slowly. Time to tell their siblings, the other Bishops of the Old Faith.

Let's hope Heket doesn't get mad again at the Prophecy. Shamura knows she isn't mad at them, just the Prophecy. But last time Heket got mad,she accidentally cursed her followers with a famine that took several days to fix.

Shamura can only hope it all goes well.
