She is the youngest Princess of Atlantica for those of you who haven't seen her just yet and here are some of the nereids Princesses of the Aegean Sea by the Father King Nereus who chooses to stay part fish under the sea so they also adopt the same trait for their Dad's respect when in water. Their Mother is Queen Doris an Oceanid.

Her name means Illustrious she has great beauty in looks and can be rude and mean spirited and her heart can be filled with conceit towards anyone but her family who has disappointed her. She can get quite angry and still be tediously immature not acting her age she is in her early thirties.

Her name means Sea Bounty and she is often attracted to shiny objects that catch her eye. Is this where Ariel's treasure hunting skill comes from? She is best friends with Actaea who loves land and sea equally as a sister and always happy to answer her younger sister's curious questions.
Actaea's name means Seashells, is this where Princess Melody Ariel's daughter gets her need to collect Seashells. Princess Actaea also befriends dolphins and seals and we see Dolphins love Melody too so is that where this comes from? I think it is. Princess Actaea's appearance below
