The prince is never mentioned in the entire original cartoon by Cinderella except for one time when she states oh I haven't met the Prince. However this does remind us because she says the Prince so close to the end of the movie doesn't mean he was ever on her mind in her dreams. In fact, we have no clue what dream she has. In the start of the movie, she tells her bird friends that she tells them the dream; it won't come true. So 1. the audience can't assume her dream is about a prince.
2. Her step-sisters automatically think when she states that means "' I can go too." This has nothing to do with dancing with the prince though this how the step-sisters reprimanding her.
3. Cinderella responds by saying why not? She is referring to being at the ball and respectfully backs up her own intitial statement by revealing the declaration, "By royal decree all eligible maidens are to attend." and the other saying. "And besides I'm still a member of the family. This does prove Cinderella is only child like when it comes to dreaming of a better place. But this moment, she is calm, cool, collected and very logical.
4. Glass slippers examplify a dream made real
5. Cinderella's fairy godmother is the material embodiment of her dreams after hitting rock bottom.
6. When the clock strikes midnight the excuse she makes to her parent is I haven't met the Prince and she runs from the palace.
7. The Prince is very absent from Cinderella's most troublesome conflict with her step-mother. She has to coordinate a plan to get the key to unlock her room through her animal friends on the other side.
8. Cinderella symbolizes the respective characterstics found in the Hufflepuff Harry Potter Hogwarts House!
I'm thinking of beginning a story that examplifys Cinderella more as the role model she is intended to be. Cinderella's real motto is real kindness is active not passive. Over and over again she has to maintain her level of endurance with every stride and value practically over justice to keep her stay.
