ARC 2.6

MC POV:-

The very next day I tell Kaito that I'll go to his office with him. He was worried that I'll get bored but I told him I'll not be and might be of some help. He agreed quite quickly when I told him I'll let him cuddle me each time he completes a task. Such a greedy hubby. When we reach his office building i see my father in law at the entrance. I greet him out of courtesy and he smiles brightly. He pats my head and tells me to have a good day. Then proceeds to threaten his own child that even if i get a paper cut there will be hell to pay for.

My hubby holds my hand and we leave for his office after pacifying my father in law. He preferred me to cal him dad which made me tear up a bit. I told dad that I'll come visit mother in law during the weekend and he was very happy. We enter the office and the first thing i see is a mahogany table. There's the seat where my hubby sits and two seats on the opposite side of table. A huge shelf with books which I think was here because of me. And a cozy sofa on which I'll be sitting. There was a bedroom in the office but it was separated by a wall that had a painting and a lock. The password is my birthday.

~Fast forward to 3 hours later~

We have cuddles many times in the past few hours. Each time he would complete skimming over a file he would come up to me and kiss me then cuddle me for a few minutes. I got bored and hungry so I went down to the cafeteria built in the office. I buy a sandwich and some juice and eat it quickly and ask for some rice cakes to be packed. After going around the office while nibbling on the food I had i headed back to the office. The way is from near the entry of the building. I pass by the table to a find Kaito being hugged by my sister. My anger flared up and i quickly rush towards them. Pulling Kaito away from Hannah I notice he started sanitizing himself.

“You useless shit! Give me back my Kaito"

Before I could control my body i registered a harsh sound of slap resounding everywhere. I slapped her. I can't believe it I slapped Hannah. Kaito calls in the guards to throw her out of the office. I'm pulled back in the office. He brings out a baby wipe and cleaned the hand that touched her with a frown on his face. My eyes are filled with tears ready to spill as i try so hard to keep them in. One still escaped and landed on my cheek sliding down further. Kaito pulls me into a hug and helped me calm down.

We leave early and reach home. I'm not in the mood to eat at all. And i know Kaito understands that. We both end up taking a bath together. I lay in his arms relishing the feeling of his body against mine.

The next morning i open the news channel all i see is the fall of my father's company. They are bankrupt and family's property has been cealed by the government. I look at the face of my hubby and kiss him. This is either his work or my father in law's work. Or maybe both worked together. Soon enough the news changed into how the sir and Madam of the family comitted suicide and the children are no where to be seen. I'm sure mother in law will be dealing with them.
