ARC 6.2

No one's POV:-

Steve definitely felt like his insides were twisting, not in a bad way, it's just that ever since the kiss he shared with Kai, Kai has made his life beautiful.
Let me explain how
1) He stopped some boys from hurting Steve even though Steve is perfectly capable of hurting the other people.
2) Steve never got detentions, well he did but it was simply him sitting with his lover talking.
3) Kai sent flowers to his dorm every morning.
4) Steve got kisses each day and no matter what, Kai never let anyone hurt him.
5) A few days ago, Steve somehow ended up getting a splinter in his finger , Kai not only helped him take out the splinter but also kissed his finger again and again saying, “My love will take away all the pain”

And many more such things. One thing that bothered Steve now is about Kai's past relationships. Seeing how Kai got mad at him not for talking bad of his parents but because he said that Kai slept with higher ups to keep his position, Steve thought that the relationship between Kai and his family was bad.

That honestly isn't the case but only Kai could explain that to him. Moving on to three months after they started dating, Steve's friends were very happy for Steve but there need to be certain ups and downs in life, or else it wouldn't be life, right?

And just like that, it was the day where parents came to visit their children every few months. Steve's mother walked in the campus wearing a ‘fashionable’ outfit that Steve simply wanted to laugh at.

‘What is with luxury brands and their weird designs?’

“Son, oh~ i missed you. Look at you, you lost weight ! And gained some muscles. You brat how dare you even hook up with your own teacher? What a slut I've birthed”

The last part murmured in his ear because he was pulled into a hug. Greg started at him in undisguised disgust.

“Genes mother, a whore gave birth to me, isn't it obvious I'd be one too. Although, I'm a slut only for my man unlike you”

Steve muttered back grimacing from the pain of sharp manicured nails gripping his upper arm. Kai, strolling around the place sees what is happening but can do nothing about it.

Greg looks at his wife, silently having a conversation with his eyes and walks up to Kai telling him they needed to talk in his office and so they did. Steve sat on his usual place at the corner couch while George and his mother sat infront of Kai on the chairs.

Greg - “I want to take my step son back home, i sent him here to become a better person but you have only ruined him further”

Kai - “I did nothing wrong with loving a boy who loves me too”

Even though the atmosphere was tense, Steve couldn't stop thinking how hot his soon to be husband looked.

Greg's sudden harsh pull on his wrist made Steve come out of his trance and wince lightly. Greg pulled him out not even caring about the things his son brought with him to the campus. Steve's friends stared at him with concern but couldn't step up to save him. And so, Steve was pulled until he was finally hauled up in the car.

The whole way, Greg yelled profanities while Steve didn't care but something caught his interest. Perhaps it was his imagination but he saw his father,his real dad angrily staring at Greg but not doing anything and suddenly disappearing.

When the car stopped infront of the well built mansion, Greg roughly pulled Steve inside making him land on the floor due to the sudden throw.
