KEEP HIM SANE

ARC 6.1

No one's POV :-
Steve, a sweet boy who has always been misunderstood by the society. Why? No one really looked past his mask of arrogance. He was very open and vivid with his imagination, given his childhood.

His mother, a greedy woman who didn't care of anything other than good money from her lovers. That's how it has always been for her. This pretentious woman never did anything for him when he was hurt or was abused.

Soon enough his real father committed suicide, reason unknown to him. His mother soon re married a rich man. She simply leached off of him and that man was totally lovesick for her.

Today, today he steps into the boot camp his dearest step father got him enrolled him in so that he could be a ‘better person’. To be honest, Greg, his step dad found out that Steve is sexually attracted to males. This disgusted him to a very huge extent.

Not even considering the fact that someone who is gay, when put in a place full of men some very appealing some not so appealing will end up in an affair.

Though might be the case with many, not with our beloved Steve. His standards were way too high to fall in love with these lowlife criminals. But will it change?

Heaving a deep breath, Steve entered the area where there would be luggage checking. One thing that stood out about him the most were his gorgeous electric blue highlighted streaks.

Before even going through his stuff sergent Zack told him that he would have to get a proper haircut and would even have to dye his hair black again. Steve strongly refused because his hair was precious and he only let his hairstylist touch it. No one else could even jokingly pat his hair and get away with it.

The other helpers got a very old, dusty brush with scissors, ready to perform their tasks. Man! Steve threw a fit, not only a fit but also the person who almost touched his hair. The male laid on the ground groaning in pain.

Sergeant Zack wouldn't leave this matter be but since it was getting late, he quickly started gowi g through Steve's luggage. Sergeant Zack pulled out a big box that looked kind of suspicious. What filled that box?

The amount of skin care products that were taken out of the box made other people look at him with skeptical gazes. But did Steve care? No, no he didn't. Those hooligans could fall face first on cow dung for all he cared.

His priority being his luxurious skin care products. Come on! He got them from his favourite idol's brand, he couldn't just let them take it away.

“You damn fucktard, who lacks basic human education on hygiene better gimme my stuff back before i sue your old ass up”

Though the remark made some admire his courage, he attracted troubles. Sergent Kai, the head sergent of this camp heard his words. One thing Kai didn't like in his camp was indiscipline. He entered the cheking area and asked with authority , “Who dares make trouble in my camp?"

The magnetic, stoic, cold voice made Steve turn around and oogle this man.
While Steve was getting lost in those green eyes, Kai was listening to the whole incident from his Sergent.

“Need to keep these things in my camp?  Give me 200 pushups and i will reconsider boy.”

Successfully pulling out the young boy from his trance, Kai started at him hard. ‘Ugh! Another handsome face wasted due to shitty personality ’

“I will be giving you nothing. I need my basic hygiene products and that means these are my daily necessities. I can't believe that people could be so senseless here”

Veins were very prominent on the the muscular biceps.

‘If he had a nice personality, i would let him choke me with those hands’

Kai was ticked off but he also agreed to let Steve have his way. That doesn't mean he went easy on the boy, oh no! He made the boy do physical exercises with the group he really was supposed to train just to show his ruthlessness.

(Is that even a word? My autocorrect doesn't approve of it)

A week passes with the two spending time together, mostly just Kai punishing Steve. Steve has always been lazy after his father's death and so just writing a 100 words self-reflecting essay meant heavy punishment so 20 to 30 rounds of a huge field meant a near death experience to him.

Each time Steve would get hurt, Kai would tend to him and this brought these two closer. The two didn't even realise that they are falling for each other until Steve had a wet dream about Kai and Kai started having Steve on his mind always. But sometimes things don't always go as planned.

Steve has always had a sharp tongue. He speaks without any regard for other person. Thus, when Steve got annoyed with Kai because of the continuous punishments and lashed out, no one could stop him from saying the following dialogue:

“ Your parents must be real glad to that you think of this as an actual job. I wonder how many people you had to sleep with just to keep your position here.”

It's not the first half of the sentence that made Kai almost punch Steve, it was the latter half. He couldn't believe that the person he really fell for thought such of him.

Steve realised the Kai had no affection for him, it was just his imagination. Which was not true but the raised fist aiming for his face said otherwise in this situation.

Now, Steve stopped pestering Kai and silently spent time with his new found friend, Collin. Some casualties did happen here and there but Collin and Steve always got through the bullying and the street style of the underworld.

Evan, Atlas, Louis, and Ryan liked Steve's vibe and got along pretty well. They respected Steve a lot and didn't ever question his ways.  The fun thing was that Evan, Atlas and Ryan started dating thier bullies/protectors, Ryale, Ceil and Ken.

Their group expanded even more with Collin dating Sergent Bruce. Bruce was only five years older but still fit well in the group because of his funny, childish personality.

Kai regretted his reflexes every day, more and more. Whenever he tried to talk to Steve, he would run away. It was pretty obvious that Steve ignored Kai like a plague.

This caused him to call Steve in his office through a strict sergent to show like he was going to punish Steven for something. Which didn't make Steve very nervous. It just made his dislike root deeper.

When Steve knocked on the door, Kai pulled Steve into his office and trapped him between his rather muscled arms against the wall. Steve refused to look at him and tried to get away without touching Kai.

This pained Kai even more. Finally not being able to take more of the refusal, Kai finally held Steve's chin and kissed him feverishly. At first, Steve struggled to free himself but eventually gave in to the fire that had ignited inside him.
