A week later, it was Steve's birthday. He wasn't really as excited to cut his birthday cake or celebrate his special day but was more ecstatic because he could finally get laid by his boyfriend.
“Happy 18th Birthday my love”
As soon as the clock struck midnight, Kai murmured against Steve's ear. Kai was currently pulling a blindfolded Steve to somewhere they could celebrate.
“Thankyou! But can I take it off now?”
Without speaking much Kai took off the blindfold revealing a beautiful set up. The stars, the night sky, the set up for candle light dinner made the perfect scene but why was Kai kneeling?
“Steve, although we have known each other for a little while I've realised that I've fallen deeply in love with you. I'm not trying to pressure you at all but will you marry me? Will you make me the happiest man on this planet and become my official other half?”
Getting no reply from Steve, Kai looked at him but his thoughts spiralled making him almost believe that Steve was rejecting him. But no, Steve was just speechless. He even forgot to answer because he was so shocked at the sudden proposal.
“Of course you big idiot!”
Steve jumped at kai, both falling on the ground because Kai couldn't prepare himself to hold both of them. But a very happy, wide grin made its way on his face despite the hard fall.
He put the ring on Steve's finger. Steve loved the design and more so, he loved what was engraved inside the ring.
“So what menu did you prepare?”
“Junk food that you like and some soup”
“No steak?”
“Whenever you eat steak at night you eng up having a stomach ache the next day, maybe tomorrow morning?”
“True, fine let's eat whatever you've prepared”
The table was full of different food items like pizza, fries, burgers, tomato soup, mac n cheese and coke to wash it all down.
Many would say that those are not things to eat on a date but if Steve likes them then there is no ideal food for Kai. They cut a very beautiful cake that was baked by Kai and enjoyed the night in each other's arms, slow dancing in the night and cuddling after getting tired.

Hello guysss!
So one thing I'd like to clear out is that the date they had was on the rooftop of Kai's house.
Next chapter will have smut because I wanted this one to only be full of fluff and love and be short.
After the smut chapter this arc will end and the new arc, as suggested previously, will have our MC as a ghost but he won't be treated as a ghost more like a hallucination due to schizophrenia.
