The lit up Christmas tree, Stockings on the fireplace, smell of sugar cookies in the oven and song playing throughout Alexius and Nathaniel's home, all had Alex loving how everything played out, making her see how blessed she was.
She decided to cook Sunday dinner that consisted of steak, potatoes, asparagus, wine and a desert of Christmas sugar cookies for her, Niel and their child to show how much she appreciated him.
He'd been working really hard these past weeks to keep his business running and to keep money brought in for him and his family. To afford their home bills and more.
Of course, She had more than that planned for him but he'd just have to wait to see when he got home from work.
Alex and Nathaniel agreed on Alex working from home as of right now so she could take care of herself for her pregnancy. Especially since she was stressing with being there already which put her in the hospital to worry if her baby was okay, in the first place.
She never would have thought that she would be standing in a huge house, one month and three weeks pregnant, cooking a entire meal for her fiancée, Nathaniel.
She'd lost all hope for any happy ending, but someone just had to step in and prove her wrong for her every doubt. Letting her know that God was listening and watching the whole time.
"Bare foot and Pregnant" Alex laughed at the saying as she looked down at her feet seeing that she was actually wearing socks, fluffy socks at that as her ugg slippers sat on the floor beside her feet.
Her eyes reverted to the wide living room window where it revealed the pool, fireplace area, and jacuzzi, but better, --the moon and clouds in the sky, above their home.
At first she was scared to be in a house this huge alone, but now she loved the feeling because it was hers and his. --The whole point was to get her to face her fears so they could go away.
