"Papa papa!" Nova screamed as River threw her over his shoulder.

"Mama help!" she yelled as she brought her to the pool.

"No, no, no!"

Nova's screams cut off when both her and River went underwater.

"She's gonna kill him," dad said and we laughed. They both resurfaced for air and she attacked him.

They went back under and I shook my head. I checked the burger meats before looking back at Nova and River.

"River! I just got my hair done!" Nova screamed at him.

"I'll pay-"

"Shout up I hate you," she said before climbing out of the pool.

"Sure you do," he said before looking at me.

He smiled before going under the water.

Carefree asshole

One day she'll kill him

"Sir," I turned around to my maid and she showed me the tray in her hands.

"Whiskey Mr. DeLuca?"

"Yes. Thank you," I said before removing a glass from the tray.

I took a sip and then flipped the burger meats on the grill. I soon covered the grill and then threw the hand towel down on the table.

"Burgers will be ready in five everyone!" I shouted.

"Finally I'm starved," Nico said

"Well things would go quicker if you help asshole," I said

"Nixon!" mom said and I groaned.

"Sorry mom," I shouted and Nico smirked.

"Fuck you," I whispered will showing him my middle finger.

He laughed before pulling down his shades.

"Hurry up with my burger, will yah bro," he said before laying down on the chair.

I swear he'll be the last one to get a burger.

Mom and dad were sitting by the pool talking and smiling at each other. Lola was walking around with her camera, recording everyone.

"Meet my wonderful parents. Mama, papa smile for the camera," Lola said and they smiled.

I took a sip from the drink and the kitchen door opened. Hazel walked out and I placed my drink down.

"Hey," I said before walking towards her.
