"My dad would never do that," I said and she raised a brow

"You're saying your dad would never kill someone?"

"No I'm not saying that," I said

"Then what are you trying to say?"

"I'm saying that I don't think he'd killed your dad kitten," I said

"Your dad and my parents were close friends and not just business partners," I said

"Friends turn enemies and your parents were the bosses," she said

"I still don't believe my dad would do that," I said and she shrugged.

My parents always talked good things about Angel.

I think I even met him when I was younger.

"Well my brother wanted revenge and I did too. But now I just want to be free from all this,"

"Free from the war between your family, the F.B.I and my brother. I just want this to be over," she said and I looked at her trembling hands.

I took her hands into mine and she held my hands. She started playing with my rings and I looked at her.

"If that's what you want I'll end it for you," I said and she looked up at me.

"I'll let your brother go after talking with my dad-"

I was interrupted by gunshots. I quickly got up and grabbed my guns.

Hazel got up and Jessy did too. I took Hazel's hand and lead her back into the house.

"Sir we're under attack," a couple of guards said while running towards us.

"Chad bring Hazel-"

"No, I can help," she said and I looked at her. I cupped her cheeks as she stared at me.

"I don't doubt you kitten I really don't but I need you to go with him just to be safe," I said and she looked at the guard.

"But-"

"Please," I said and she nod.

"Okay," she said lowly.

What she did next was shocking. She went on her tippy toes and kissed me.

"Don't die," she whispered after pulling away. I looked down at her and she smiled before walking away.

She went to the guard and I looked at Jessy.

"Go on girl," I said and Jessy followed behind Hazel.

"Bring them to the safe room and guard them with your life," I ordered and Chad nod.

They hurried away and I looked at my men.

"Let's go!"

"Yes sir!"
