"Welcome to my safe house I'm glad you guys came to join me," the old chubby man seating around the large table said.

"We didn't have much of a choice," I said and he looked up at me.

A smirk crawled it way up to his lips as he stared at me.

"Like father like daughter huh," he mumbled and I looked at Miles who stepped forward.

"Hello Chief," Miles greeted and the man stood from his chair.

He had short brown and freckles covering his face. He was wearing a grey suit and sneakers.

That's weird

He was also walking with a black cane. He finally came up to me as I studied him.

"Catalaynia my dear how are you?" the man asked while completely ignoring Miles.

"Just like old times huh," Miles mumbled.

He hugged me and I didn't return it so when he pulled away I gave him a polite smile.

This is awkward

Do I know this man or not?

"Is something wrong with her?" he asked

"Her memories are in a bit of a haze," Miles said.

"What happened?" He asked

"We're not sure. We found her this way," Miles said and I looked at him.

"Was it the DeLuca's?" the man asked

"N-"

"Yes," Miles cut in and I looked at him.

The man walked over to Miles and
stood directly infront of him. He raised his cane and hit Miles in the knee.

"Ah," Miles said while holding on to the area.

"Let's not lie boy," the man said before looking at Millie.

"You must be the one carrying Alex's baby," he said before placing his hand near her tummy.

Wait what?

Alex?

Alex as my brother?

She stepped away and he shrugged before looking at me. I was still looking at her as she kept herself at a small distance from us.

She's pregnant

Well it was impossible to know since she was wearing that huge ass hoodie. She was hiding her tummy so well.

"If you two don't mind I'd like to talk to you in private. So please wait outside," he said and we looked at each other.
