Chapter 7

Aiden POV

Ruby and Cindy came out of the building, and I didn't recognize Ruby anymore. Cindy looked totally distraught and scared. She walked past me without saying anything and sat in the passenger seat. That probably meant I should drive. Ruby sat in the back seat and her eyes were blank. Something about Ruby scared me. There was just nothing left in her. Complete emptiness. What had she learned from this guy and what had happened to Jake?

The others didn't dare to say or ask anything. Everyone looked at Ruby in fear. The others all drove away, and we drove home. I kept looking in the rearview mirror and saw Ruby looking out the window. Her eyes were dead and cold.

When we got home, she stood motionless next to us while I unlocked the door. She went straight to her room without a word. Cindy went into our bedroom. I stood rooted to the spot in the living room, trying to figure out what was happening here at the moment.

After a while I heard Cindy cry, and I immediately went to her. She knelt on the floor with her face buried in her hands. I knelt in front of her and hugged her, it didn't help. It only got worse, and she almost choked on her own tears. I rocked her against me in a slow rhythm and over time she calmed down a bit.

She looked at me with wet scared eyes and it broke my heart. Like me, she was very worried about Ruby. She sobbed again before saying, "We need to talk to her. She's not herself anymore."

I nodded and I sat on the couch while Cindy knocked on Ruby's room.

After a while the door opened and Cindy said softly, "Ruby, please talk to us. You're losing yourself."

"Okay," she said, sounding so vulnerable, but her appearance still made her appear dead. She sat down on the armchair and Cindy sat down next to me on the sofa. What Ruby told us made my heart stop.

"He didn't want to tell me at first because I didn't sleep with him. So, I used a little bit of torture. I gave him KO drops and then tied him to the chair. Where do I get the drops from? He had it with him in case I didn't want to."

Immediately I got angry, he was ready to rape her again. But this time Ruby didn't put up with anything. She closed her eyes and seemed to put herself back in the situation.

Ruby POV

After I closed my eyes, I saw everything in front of me again. I moved my head towards his cock and made him yelp in pain. I grinned happily. Stupid if you don't know who you're talking to. I breathed fire and burned his tip. I kissed him but my lips were hot as lava.

"Better you talk yourself or I have to force you." He regretted having come with me, he didn't know that I was a witch and certainly didn't know that I had fire powers.

He didn't say anything, so I picked up the KO drops that fell out of his pocket and opened them, "Say ahh."

He shook his head and tried to get up, but I pushed him back down with my hand, leaving burns in the shape of my handprint on his chest. I opened his mouth with a firm grip and dripped the rest of the bottle into his mouth. I poured some more water into his mouth afterwards, so he was forced to swallow.

While he struggled to stay awake, I got dressed again. When I saw that he was unconscious I moved a chair from the dining room to the living room and tied his hands with cable ties behind the back of the chair.
