Yesterday I went to the mall with Aalyiah, then the park. She's really fun and I think we'll be best friends. Today, I might go hang out with her again once we drop Madi off. I stepped out of bed, grabbed some clothes, and went into the bathroom to take a quick shower.
Once I got out I saw that I had a missed call from Britt.
I called her back
*she picks up*
"Hello?"
She sounded upset.
"Hi, I saw I missed a call from you, sorry I was in the shower.. Are you ok?"
She sighed.
"No. Not really."
"What's wrong?"
"You know what, never mind."
Then she hung up. Huh, weird.
I heard my dad calling me downstairs so I threw on my clothes, brushed my hair and went downstairs.
"Yeah?" I asked.
"We're leaving in 10, go finish getting ready. I rushed back upstairs, and blow dried, then straightened my hair. I grabbed my phone, and headphones, and ran downstairs, they were just about to get in the car. Madi and I walked out the door, and to the car, I helped Madi carry her stuff. My dad locked the door and got in the car. The airport was a short drive away. We pulled up outside the airport, and help Madi get her things inside. We took her through everything up to custody, because after custody you can't go through anymore unless you're riding a plane, I hugged her and so did my dad and then we went back and sat down on a bench. "Why are we waiting here?" I asked, confused. He just shook his head and smiled. I looked up, and practically screamed.
