"I love it!" I exclaimed, spinning around in front of the full-body mirror with Kat by my side.
"I knew you would!" She replied with a smile.

It was a strapless, peachy colored dress, with silver sequence around it, and I loved it.

For the next ten minutes, Kat helped me apply my makeup.
Which- wasn't much, because I hate makeup.
It was some light lipgloss stuff, with a very light eye shadow that matched the dress.
There was a knock at my door, "Dad say's it's time to go!" Madi yelled from the other side.

"You sure you're up for it?" My dad asked Kat, as we walked to her Jeep. "Oh yeah, I'll be fine." She assured him.

"What's wrong?" I asked, suddenly confused.
"Oh nothing, I just haven't been feeling good lately."
She assured me wearily.
I nodded and continued to the Jeep, with Madi on my heels.

The dinner went great.
But, of course, Dad decides to invite everyone over.
Ugh.
Not feeling like mingling at the moment, I stayed up in my room for a good hour, in sweatpants and a tank top, with my hair up in a neat bun.

This man always has the cast over.
Ugh.

When will this end?

I decided to put something decent on, and head downstairs.

"Hey, Dani!" Norman greeted, dancing around in swim trunks and a bright pink bikini top.
"Is that mine?" I asked with a laugh. "Probably." He said with a shrug, and danced over to Steven and Lauren.
I nodded awkwardly before a thought crossed my mind,
Why has Kat been acting weird?
I was gonna find out.
I turned and jogged back up the stairs, and made my way into My dad and Kat's room.
I opened the top drawer in the dresser, and the first thing that caught my attention was a pregnancy test, and as I looked at it closer I realized it was a positive.
I made my way down into the kitchen, where Kat and my dad stood with Alanna, Sonequa, Norman, who was still wearing my bikini top, and Emily.
"You got something you wanna tell me?" I questioned, leaning against the wall.
Kat looked at me with a confused expression.
"Oh stop," I mumbled, "you know exactly what the fuck I'm talking about."
My dad straightened up and looked at me. "Dani." He scolded.
"Shut up, oh my god!" I yelled.
"First, you go and try to bring me home like nothing was wrong, then get married and expect me to just move on and pretend the first 14 years of my life never happened. Then you're gonna go and have another child?"
They both stared at me, neither saying a thing.
"I'm gonna go, and uh let you guys handle this.." Norman mumbled awkwardly before stepping out of the kitchen, Emily, Alanna, and seonequa following.
"To be fair, it's our decision, and you shouldn't have been poking around in our business." My dad finally spoke.
"And when were you gonna tell me? Huh?" I shot.
Kat opened her mouth to speak, but I cut her off. "Forget it, I'm going." I mumbled, making my way to the kitchen door.
"Where?"
"I don't know."

{Andy's p.o.v}

I needed to chase after my daughter to make sure she was okay, I knew it was my job. But Kat told me she needed time, so time was what I gave her.

She didn't come home till around eleven that night.

"Hey, Dani. I think we need to talk." I said quietly, making my way into the dimly lit kitchen where Dani stood fixing a sandwich. She didn't answer, instead, she grabbed her sandwich and started to head for the stairs. "Dani." I said again. She turned around, "What." I exhaled deeply before continuing. "I know you're not the happiest, and we shouldn't be throwing all of this on you like that, but we're not expecting you to just fall in line with any of it either. It's hard, I know, but you can do it." Her eyes moved from me to the ground, and after a long pause and a short shrug, she was moving back up the stairs again.  I sighed in defeat, heading back upstairs and into my room. "She okay?" Kat asked as I flopped onto the bed. "Eh." was my only response.
