"Can ya'll knock it off, this trip is supposed to be fun, and Mr. Lincoln hasn't told the truth to Dani yet, and this plan's gonna get screwed up if ya'll don't stop being all over each other. Be serious." Was that Jade? I quickly sat up. "Tell me about what?" I called from the back of the RV. I heard someone curse under their breath. I walked toward the front where everyone was talking. "N-nothing. You'll find out. Eventually. I-It's nothing, I promise." Britt sputtered. "What. What are you guys hiding?" No one answered, they all just exchanged nervous glances. I saw a wave of guilt cross Jay's face. I shook my head and climbed the ladder up to the little deck. "Uh. Ok. Just, don't... Fall?" I heard Nathan call from the drivers seat.

I've been sitting up here for an hour now, alone. It's peaceful, besides the traffic noise. And I liked it. I heard someone climbing up the ladder, but ignored it, looking off somewhere in the distance, day dreaming. "Hey." I heard Britt's voice. I felt someone sit down next to me. Probably Britt. "What plan?" I asked, still not turning around. "Well, it's not exactly a plan, but, once we decided to bring you on vacation with us, your dad asked if we could help hide something from you. In a way." I just starred off into the distance as the RV moved along the highway. "Well." She continued. "Your dad found a girlfriend. Not to bad, I guess. But, the part he wanted us to tell you, mainly because he didn't want to face your reaction, was that since you don't exactly have a mother, he would like her to take the place as your mom." I could pretty much feel her flinch from behind me. She knew that this would set me off. I jumped up, almost losing my balance from the moving RV. "What!?" I practically yelled. Britt sat me back down and hugged me. "Wanna call your dad and talk to him about it?" She asked soothingly. My eyes narrowed. "Hell yeah."

"Hello?" His British accent echoed through the phone.

"What's wrong with you." I seethed.

"I'm- uh, guessing they told you?" He said quietly.

"Britt was the only one brave enough too." I retorted sarcastically.

"Dani, please calm down." He said softly.

"Excuse me?" I began. "Calm down? My mother just died, and then you finally come back for me, and drag me back down here to Atlanta, get a girlfriend and expect me to act like she's my mom, and you tell me to 'calm down'?!" I practically screamed.

He sighed. "She wasn't your birth mother, your birth mother left." That one made me wanna punch a wall, I would have, too, if there was one up here.

"No, but I call her my real parent, not you, or whoever my 'real' mom is, because she had the heart to actually keep me, instead of giving me away!" I yelled into the phone, on the verge of tears.

"I- Dani, I had my reasons." he said calmly.

"Like what?" I yelled. "Was your career to important for a child, what about Madi? You had her some years later, just so you could give her up to my mom as well. Why would you bother having kids if you weren't even gonna keep them? What's the point of hurting someone so much?!" I yelled, my voice cracking at the end. I hung up before he could answer. Climbing back down the ladder, I ignored everyone who tried to talk to me, or grab my arm, knowing they all heard my side of the conversation, I was yelling the whole time. I walked to the back of the RV where the bed was, and climbed under the blankets, quietly crying myself to sleep, just wanting to get away from it all.

{Chandler - One week later, when Dani gets to Ocean City as well.}

"C'mon chandler, pleaaassseee!" Grayson begged. We were in the car, only an hour left till we got to Ocean City, or whatever you called it. I ignored Grayson's plea to play cards, and asked y mom the same question I've asked for the past week. "Mom, why are we going to a beach half-way up the East Coast again?" I groaned. "Because, Chan, we just wanted to try something new." I groaned again- "Why couldn't we go to a closer, new beach?"

"Because Dani said this one was really fun, and it's always the perfect temperature here, and they have East Coast's best fudge."

"So?"

She shrugged, and continued telling dad which exits to turn off of, while I turned to play cards with Grayson.

I heard her hang up on the other end, before I could say anything back. I sighed and walked back into the living room where I was waiting for Kat to show up. We'd been together for some time before I took Dani, and Madi back. I've told her about what's going on, and she's completely understanding about it. Today, I was planning on proposing to her, I was almost afraid of Dani now, but She's a kid, she'll come around. There was a knock at the door, I quickly put the small box into my pocket, and opened the door. "Hey Andy!" Kat said smiling. I leaned in and pecked her lips. "Ready to go?" I asked her, she nodded. "Where are we going?" I smiled. "That's for me to know and you to find out."

I drove her to the big park and beautiful pond down the road a bit. "Why here?" She questioned. "This was our first date." I responded, giving her a small smile. We got out of the car and I lead her to an already set up picnic. Before she could even sit down, I pulled out the small box and got down on one knee.

A/N- Guys I'm so sorry it's short! I give myself a 1000 word minimum limit, so this one just barely made it. Also I had this chapter started for about two weeks now, but I hit the worst writers block ever, and ugh. Again, truly sorry for it being short, and late, at that matter. The character of Kat (Short for Katrina) will be played by andrewlincolnswife

Thanks guys so much or how far this story has come, it's honestly amazing.

Everyone thinks this story is great, but I think it just keeps getting worse and worse, but I have a few ideas, so it will be getting better, promise.

also, there will only be a few more chapters to this book! But- There's gonna be a second book, yey!

Anyway, hope you enjoyed, I'll try to update sooner!
