"What are you guys talking about?" Madison asked from behind the two, interrupting their conversation. Drew and Leni looked at each other, not knowing what to say "Did I interrupted you with something?" She asked looking down at the blondes.

When Drew realised he was still holding Leni he snaked his arm back into his lap "No, we just talked about stuff." He knew Madison knew he was full of shit, so he just changed the topic looking at Madison "Didn't you want to get some beer?"

"Yeah, but the next shop is like 2000 miles away," the brunette complained "can I borrow your car again?" She kindly asked Drew pulling a puppy face.

Drew smiled cheekily rolling his ocean blue eyes "You don't have to act up like that, I would have gave you my keys anyway." He stood up and walked to his bag, looking for it before he handed it over to the brunette in front of him.

"Thank you, you're the best." She squealed, hugging him tight, letting go after some seconds, walking away then.

Slowly the blonde walked toward Leni, sitting besides her "You know I lost someone too." slowly putting his arm around her again "My best friend, Josh."

Leni's brown eyes danced from the people havin fun in the waves to his marvellous eyes "What happened?"

He tried to hide it but Leni saw the same look on his face, she had a few minutes ago. Anger, Sadness, Regret, Denial, Grief. Drew shrugged his shoulders as the same time his hands tightened into fists "He got sick, he kept it a secret until it was to late."

"M'sorry." She gave him a little recursing smile.

Drew felt if he looked for one more second into her eyes he would just started to cry- didn't even know if he could stop, so he moved his gaze back to the his friend in the water "You know it had been years ago," he unclenched his fists "but he will never been forgotten. Neither did the pain leave after the time, I just found a way to live with it." His face began to turn into a bright red "the pain is my motivation. I know Josh wanted me to do my best and that's what I do everyday."

Leni's head slowly got heavier and she rested her head on his shoulder "Impressive how you turned something that heartbreaking into something bright."

The first time in her life she felt understood, by something other than Brody or sum. She just felt naked, bare, but at the same time safe, in his arms. He showed her that it's okay to be in pain. But you can't let your life control by pain. They stayed for a little while like that, Drew holding Leni in his arms, it was just comforting, for both of them.

No one of their friends seem to notice how the blondes on the beach got closer- but Rudy did. Rudy watched them, he was wondering about what they talked about.

When Drew got up from the sand he cleaned up his pants before reaching out to Leni. She accepted the help and he pulled her up. Both then walking down to the water "Are you guys having fun?" Drew asked the group, in a ringing voice.

"Yeah, are you?" Austin asked straight back, then getting hit by a beach ball, fired by Jonathan "Aye that's not fair, I wasn't looking." He said turning to the dark skin.

A loud "Oh" from Rudy caught everyone attention "Something bit me." He said concerned looking around him, what it could be "there." He pointed at a long flying insect "That son of a bitch bit me."
