Chapter Four

Sighing once again something I seem to be doing alot , I push the door to the room open and it is thankfully empty . To be honest it looked like an expensive hotel room , I take a quick scan around before walking inside closing the door behind me , I walk over to the bed placing my bag atop it and walk around the room examining the big space . I walk into the bathroom , and then to my surprise it had a balcony , something I would no doubt be spending a lot of my time on .
I stand at the edge of the balcony and see that another car has pulled up but this one had a few more people inside , the car horn honks and a boy pushes his head through the window , "God damn Amber you said you were ready , like come on bitch we need to go!" he shouts to which I hear a few shuffling then heels clicking and the door open and close , I look back over the balcony and see Amber running towards the car and jumping in the front seat , "Well fuck you too bitch , I was busy, now drive," she shouts to which the boy laughs and they drive out the driveway and down the road . Now I'm officially alone in this big house . Typical of them to have to suddenly dissapear after I return , not like I was expecting them to stay , not like they ever did . I walk back into the room and then start unpacking my clothes into the dresser , my clothes only took up one and a half drawers.
After unpacking I then take out my medications and place them on the dresser . After that I was feeling tired so I took one of the night pill and went downstairs for some water , I then returned to the room and lay down on the bed and in no time I fell asleep .

I woke up to the sound a blender and a cell phone ringing . Great way to start the morning, with a groan I reluctantly got up out of bed and head to the bathroom to empty my bladder that I've been holding in for a while now , due to being lazy and not wanting to leave the comfort of the bed . After relieving myself I wash my hands and stare at myself in the mirror and let's just say I look like shit , my hair was ruffled clothes crushed and my face still looked sleepy . I walk back into the room grab a pair of sweatpants and a sweatshirt and then head back into the bathroom .
Thankfully there was around three extra toothbrushes in the bathroom under the cupboard and bodywash "cherry blossom " scented, meh not my type but it'll do . I quickly wash up , making sure to wash my hair in the process . I use a towel to dry my hair and failed miserably as it was still wet but it would have to do . I quickly put my clothes on and leave the bathroom . I sigh before pulling the room door open and walk out closing it behind me .
Well I should go down seeing as I'm thirsty hopefully they're gone. And with that I walk across the hall and down the stairs with heavy steps and my heart beating fast , soon enough I reach the end of the stairs . I take slow steady steps in the direction of the noise and stop once I reach the entrance of the kitchen. Well this was unexpected, I mean I expected to see the oh so happy family together but what I wasn't expecting was to see a bunch of teenagers all sprawled out in the kitchen as if they lived here , maybe they did .
"Woah Joshua ! Is this why you didn't want us over ? I gotta say she's hot as far as the eyes can see , and a red head too," at the sound coming from one of the boys everyone's eyes suddenly turn to me , and in that instant I want to just shout at them to mind their own fucking business. A brunette scoffs before rolling her eyes,
"Seriously? You're cheating with," she stops to look me up and down , " With this ? I mean you could do better , and don't even think about calling me later because we are done and-"
" What are you guys talking about? " a very husky yet comforting voice comes from another room as if the person was approaching no doubt it was a boy.
The sound of footsteps echo through the kitchen , getting louder as the person gets closer , the steps stop and I take this moment to look up at the person at the door , starting from the foot , passing the knee up the toned muscular arms and finally the face , a gasp leaves my lips. The boy looked like an older version of Josh!
The look of confusion on his face is suddenly replaced by a look of realization and shock . "Clary?" He says but it came out soft and uncertain.
I nod with a smile on my face and with that he runs over to me and pulls me into a hug , and for once since I got here I returned the hug ,he held onto me for dear life almost as if he's scared I'd run away. It hurt but I enjoyed the feeling of being in his warm embrace again . I missed him.
Someone clearing their throat causes us to pull away but Joshua still held me close by his side, he turned and I was able to see the looks on everyone's face the girls were judging me and the boys were well eye fucking me at this point.
"So not only are you cheating but now you have the audacity to hug her infront of me ? " the brunette from before ask , frustration all over her face . Joshua groans before face palming himself .
"Guys this is my sister Clary , Clary these are my friends ," he says to which 'his friends ' stood shocked , mouth open and everything even the brunette.
"What?"
"I didn't know you had another sister "
"Well that's a surprise, "
"Holy shit "
And so that was a few of the responses I got . I did a small awkward wave and to my surprise Joshua pulled me into yet another hug , this time holding me tighter than before , "I really missed you Clary, and don't you ever leave me alone again , we had a promise remember?" He whispers so I'm the only one to hear . My eyes well up at his words and all I can do is nod . I hear a sniffle from him and the guy that shouted before came and pulled us apart looking at me weirdly and then back at Josh and continuing the action before his face morpher into one of confusion.
"Bro you hid her from us ? How could you?" He said feigning hurt ,
"I didn't keep her a secret Elijah , I told you guys about her many times," Josh says rolling his eyes.
"But I thought she was like some fictional shit you made up ," the boy whose name I found out was Elijah said .
"Well now you know , now can you all stop staring and Elijah don't try anything, this one's off limits she's my sister don't you forget that," Josh shouts makimg sure to give Elijah a death stare making Elijah roll his eyes , "Whatever, by the way Clary was it? I'm Elijah, the most handsome of the group , and these well aren't our normal group of friends just some people we know so don't think of making a good impression on them ," . A few grunts were heard from the other kids but Elijah only laughed and walked away.
Josh took my hand and led me to the island to sit on one of the stools . "Okay for breakfast we have my special sausage omelet and orange juice or you can have cereal or whatever you want honestly it doesn't matter I'm just honestly so glad you're here an- and I- I god damn it I'm babbling , I don't babble it's jus-" sensing his nervousness I take his hand into mine and give it a kiss and smile at him , "It's okay Josh I'm here for good this time," I tell him soothingly to which he smiles and squeeze my hands . God I missed him.
