When I woke up the next morning I immediately remembered last night. Hayden kissed me. And it was not a dream. He really kissed me. And I kissed him. Oh god. I closed my eyes pulling my blanket over my head hoping the memory would fade. This was not good. It was Friday. That meant I still had to work with Hayden today. I got up walking to the bathroom to take a shower. Just as I was about to enter someone opened the door from the inside. There he was. Dressed in a dark blue suit, looking as handsome as ever. When he saw me he immediately looked away passing me and heading downstairs. He's back to ignoring me. Who does he think he is? He can't kiss me like that and then act as if nothing happened. But first things first I need a shower. After I was dressed and ready to go I headed downstairs only to find Jackson sitting in the kitchen alone.
"Where's Hayden?" I asked.
"Good morning to you too." Jackson answered while putting his mug into the sink. "He already went to work, something about an early meeting. You can drive with me though."
So he wants to play like this. Well, I can play that game too. And better. I drove with Jackson to work. He got off on the 30th floor and I went all the way to Hayden's floor. His doors were closed. I went over to my desk and started my day as usual. When someone called for Hayden I took down the message and went into his office. He was typing something but looked up when he heard me come in. I walked closer to his desk and bend forward to put the pieces of paper with the message on it directly in front of him.
"There was a call for you, Mr Ledger." I lingered for a moment before walking out of the office slowly. I left the door open like he kept it almost all week.
I went back to my desk and continued with my day. Every now and then I could feel him staring at me. Every now and then I stared back. He held my gaze for a moment but then went back to work. We danced around like this all day. I brought him every note into his office, one by one. Always standing much closer to him than I need to. He kept trying to ignore me, miserably failing at it though. It was already late afternoon and I was in Hayden's office again asking him about an appointment. I stood quite closely next to his chair laying out some of the papers in front of him. He was looking up at me the entire time not looking like he understood a single word I'm saying.
"Hayden?" I asked, taking my eyes off his desk to look into the ocean of blue staring at me. "Are you listening to me at all?"
"No." he simply said while holding my gaze.
"Okay, then I can just go." I said wanting to walk away when I felt him touch my hand.
"No." was all he said while grabbing my arm and pulling me closer.
He surprised me and I lost my balance, landing on his lap. I could feel his very obvious bulge beneath me. Oh god. Maybe this was not a good idea.
"You're not going anywhere." he buried his face in my hair while wrapping his arms around me pulling me closer into him. "You have been killing me all day. Trying to get to me. It worked. Now you have to deal with the consequences."
His lips were on immune before I could protest. Not that I would have protested. I grabbed his face leaning into the kiss. I climbed onto him so I was facing him completely, straddling his lap. I buried my hands in his hair.
"Fuck...Kaya..." he moaned between kisses.
His hands slipped under my shirt when suddenly my phone started ringing in my pocket. We broke apart but I still stayed on his lap. I reached into my pocket while Hayden started to kiss my neck, which was quite distracting. I checked the name on the screen before picking up.
"Hey, Nick..." I managed to say as normally as I was able to in my current situation. I felt Hayden tense up under me digging his hands into my side. He started biting my neck and ear while trailing kisses all over.
