"Rockes, we have a situation. I've been compromised. "

Stopping dead in her tracks, Ernaline dropped to a crouch. "Fuck." She muttered as she silently crept through the room, making sure she wasn't making a sound as she made her way back to the catwalk. Luckily there were a few barrels on the walkway that provided her cover as she ducked behind them. She peered out from behind her cover and saw at least 20 soldiers pointing their weapons at Ghost. Ghost was kneeling down on the floor in front of the satellite, rifle down and his hands in the air. Ernaline was debating what to do when one of the Russians called out.

"I know you're in there. Come out slowly or we'll shoot your friend." One of the soldiers warned, his voice thick with a Russian accent. "I'll give you five seconds to comply."

"5...4...3..."

"Rockes. I think it's time for plan B." Ghost quickly stated through the comms.

Acting fast, Ernaline pulled her detonator from her belt and pushed the red button. The detonator was linked to the fueling station so hopefully-

"What the Hell!?" The Russian soldiers turned around quickly to see what caused the loud disturbance. They were horrified when they saw a plume of smoke and a wall of fire on the runway. Too dazed and confused by the explosion they forgot about the two soldiers inside the hangar. Ghost dove towards his gun in an instant. Whipping around and opening fire on the unsuspecting Russians. Providing covering fire, Ernaline shot down as many enemies as she could from the catwalk. Once the immediate enemies were neutralized Ghost yelled over the comms.

"Price! The mission went south! Get Nikolai over here ASAP! Rockes, follow me, we have to get out of here!"

Understanding the urgency of his deep voice, Ernaline flung herself at the railing of the catwalk. She grabbed the metal and allowed her body to sore over it. She timed her fall perfectly so as soon as her boots hit the concrete she broke away into a roll to soften the fall. Springing to her feet she stumbled a little, but Ghost grabbed her and hoisted her up, urging her to run after him.

"Why didn't you just take the stairs?" Ghost yelled while running through the thick snow.

"I always hated climbing stairs, my room was on the second story!" Ernaline remarked as she followed Ghost closely. Up ahead there was a patrol of soldiers that began reaching for their guns.

"Get down!" Ghost ordered, turning around and tackling her into the soft snow. Luckily for Ernaline there was enough snow that it cushioned her weight.

Bullets flew over the soldiers heads as Ghost held her down. The Russians were surrounding them and the pair were running out of options. The only thing that shielded the two from oncoming bullets were cement barriers placed on the runway.

"Ghost! I'll throw a flash grenade and book it to the tree line just beyond the runway! Cover me, and when I reach the trees I'll cover you!" Ernaline insisted as she prepared her flash grenade.

"Ok, good luck out there!" Ghost agreed. The two had nothing to lose (except their lives), this was the only option they had, Ghost got his gun ready and waited for Ernaline to throw the flash bang.

Ernaline steadied her breathing and crouched, ready to sprint from behind her cover. Quickly, she threw the grenade in the area she would be running. As soon as she heard the explosion and the shouts from the enemies, she knew it was safe to go. Gun at the ready, she began firing. A soldier farther along that had escaped the flash grenade aimed down his sights so they were fixed on Ernaline. She noticed this and went to fire, but before she pulled the trigger blood shot from his chest as he collapsed down into the snow.
