"The Giants have won five consecutive games in which they trailed by one score or less after three quarters. All were stewarded by White and assisted by Mayers. The dynamic duo has been on a roll this season. Although during their last game the comeback score in their win against the Buffalo Bills was courtesy of the Giants' defense," the sportscaster stated.
Acacia and the rest of the crew were gathered at Serenity's house. They were there to watch The New York Giants vs. The Washington Commanders. Serenity wanted to watch Trevon play and she didn't want to exclude Acacia, so she invited her as well.
"White and Mayers have both been consistent and instrumental to the Giants stellar season so far," another sports commentator chimed in.
When the players of both teams ran onto the field Acacia immediately started to look for number eighteen and she spotted him shortly after. She couldn't deny that he looked good in his football uniform.
It didn't take long for the game to start. Acacia had watched a few games that Carson played in so she wasn't as clueless as she was in the beginning. Luckily that meant that she didn't have to ask as many questions to keep up with the game.
Serenity was all into it and stood up to cheer the team on every time they made an offensive play.
"Does anyone want more nachos?" Serenity's friend Danielle called out from the kitchen.
That's when it happened; one of the cornerbacks from the Commanders tackled Carson and he went down immediately. It was a hard hit and it rendered him unable to move.
Acacia immediately jumped up from her seat when it happened and covered her mouth with her hand.
You could hear a pin drop in the gigantic arena. That's how quiet it was. Everyone was shaken up by the turn of events.
This was the last thing anyone expected when the game started. One moment Carson was running around on the field and the next he was laying on the gridiron.
The girls had all rallied around Acacia. Everyone was worried, but they wanted to reassure her that he would be fine. Even though they themselves weren't sure that he was going to be okay.
"Carson please get up," Acacia whispered under her breath while she said a silent prayer.
The whole stadium was silently watching on as the medical personnel rushed onto the field and came to his aid. He was surrounded by his teammates and players of the opposing team as well. Everyone was concerned about his well-being.
They started working on him and soon he started to show signs of life. Acacia released the breath that she didn't know that she was holding.
It became clear that he couldn't continue the game and that he needed extra medical attention. Carson received a standing ovation from fans of both teams while he was being wheeled off the field.
