Serenity had just texted Acacia a link to an interview that Carson had done with Maria Taylor.
Valerie had arranged the sit down interview with the sports newscaster after the incident with Willow.
Acacia was currently seated at her desk prepping for a meeting that she was about to attend, but she took a few minutes to check out the five minute clip.
She clicked the link that Serenity had sent and it led her to the NFL on NBC YouTube channel. She checked the date to see when the clip was posted and saw that it was uploaded a few days ago.
"I'm back with star running back Carson Mayers of the New York Giants. Before the break we talked a bit about how you stay in shape during the off season."
The two were seated across from each other in a homely type of setting. It seemed like it was filmed at his home judging by the background. Acacia recognized it from the last time that she was there.
Carson was dressed casually and seemed relaxed and comfortable. It was clear that he had done this many times before.
"Let's switch it up a little bit. Now I usually don't ask these types of question, but when I announced that I would be interviewing you I asked my followers if they had any burning questions that I really needed to ask."
"Both my Twitter- and Instagram page got flooded with some type of variation of this question. I kept scrolling and scrolling on my timeline and it kept popping up so I just have to go ahead and ask."
"The ladies really want to know if you're single."
"You don't need to answer if you don't feel comfortable, but I had to ask or else they would come for my head," she added jokingly.
Carson smiled one of his captivating smiles. He was caught off guard and was definitely not expecting that question, but he was amused nonetheless. He didn't mind her asking however.
In some cases his PR person would filter the questions beforehand but with someone like Maria - who was a professional and didn't ask crazy questions he knew that everything would run smoothly.
